Bintan Island is an island in the Riau Islands province, where Tanjungpinang City, the capital of Riau Islands Province, is located.

Bintan is the largest island in the Riau Archipelago, consisting of nearly 3,000 large and small islands, stretching across Singapore and Johor Baru, Malaysia. It is strategically located on the southern peninsula of Malaysia at the mouth of the Malacca Strait.

Thanks for sharing this article! I've not heard of thid island in Indonesia before although I've been to Indonesia several times! Based on your pictures I fell in love with it and we'll visit it next time we go to Indonesia.

Hi @faroel Thanks for sharing all these photos and details of Bintan. I have been to Batam once and wanted to visit bintan soon. But after watching these photos I am more interested to go there. Will plan out soon to visit this place or most probably within this month any weekend.
