The Southernmost port town in New Zealand

It's been a while since my last post, I was quite busy during these days. But I'll make sure I will post something at least once in a while for my followers to enjoy.

Alright let's get started, do you know what is the southernmost port town in New Zealand?...well, I assume you all know that. It called Bluff, in Maori known as Motupohue, it is the southernmost port town in NZ, this town also "claimed" as the first established settlement in the country (Wikipedia says it is). To witness its beauty, last summer I went to bluff. It is basically a small town located in Southland area, particularly southern part of Invercargill. If you are planning to go there, from Invercargill, there is a coastal road that will lead you to Bluff.

Along the coast, you'll see the endless oceanic view of the giant pacific ocean on your left and hills on your right (sadly I don't have any picture to show what the road looks like). When you get into town, it is very easy to navigate since it is very straightforward. From Bluff, I suggest to go to Stirling point, it is the landmark of the town and practically the end of the drivable road. At the landmark, there is a signpost where most people take pictures to mark the moment of their arrival at the southernmost town in New Zealand. Although it is just an ocean that you can see from the Stirling point,​ it is very stunning. However, you should be aware of weather because it can get very windy and cold since it is very exposed area and close to Antartica.
