I Never Wanna Leave This Place (Travel to Holbung Hill in North Sumatera)
Lake Toba always makes me want to stay there longer. There is always something fun when visiting this place. Starting from the inhabitants, tourists who come to visit, and of course the nature that always managed to conjure me to think to stay here. To see the beauty of Lake Toba, we can see from various sides in 7 districts in North Sumatra. One of them, we can see the beauty of Lake Toba from Holbung Hill. On last weekend's holiday, me and my friends visited this amazing place, it was Holbung Hill.
On Saturday night, we started the journey from Medan via Berastagi street. Through this route takes about 6 hours. I think this is an exhausting path as it passes through the mountain tracks and also the streets are jammed, it can make us arrive at the destination to be slower 2 hours.
After traveling 6 hours in the morning, we stopped in Sidikalang for a rest and breakfast. After that, we continued our journey back and stopped at some point when entering Samosir Island to enjoyed the stunning landscapes.
After traveling for about an hour, we arrived at the main destination, Holbung Hill. Usually, to reach the peak takes only 10-15 minutes. You can also see many hill weeds along the way. As soon as I reached the top, I fell silent. For the first time I see the beauty of Lake Toba from Holbung Hill. You can see all the photos below that I shot to all corners from this hill. Holbung Hill condition is clean, maybe as I saw yesterday, campers took home their garbage. The scenery offered is very beautiful. The expanse of green hills makes anyone here stunned. The hail of wind makes us close their eyes to enjoy it. Mount Pusuk Buhit looks very magnificent on the blue Lake Toba. The sky is like a very beautiful abstract painting, there is also a cracking hill that reveals with high artistic value.
After a day of enjoying the beauty of nature in this place, we rushed untul back to Medan, this time we passed a different path through Tigaras. From Samosir, we crossed the lake using a ferry to Tigaras and it takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at tigaras harbor, we continue our journey through Pematang Siantar and take 2 hours faster than the previous route.
Everyone please come here and enjoy the natural beauty that is available here. But keep in mind to keep and preserve it. Don't get such a beautiful place is polluted by garbage. See you around in my next trip. :)
