Sivash Lake. Race against the wind

After exploring catacombs for a while, we put equipment into the car and went to the lake Sivash.

Sivash - shallow saline gulf of the Azov Sea. It's also called Ukrainian dead sea, because the salt concentration reaches 88%. In ancient times this salt was even exported to Japan and Egypt!
It also has medicinal properties: detox the liver, prevent the development of cancer cells, heal skin problems, relieve joint pain and much more.

Unfortunately, today this place is not a popular resort area and many villages nearby are semi-abandoned.

However, as I already mentioned, you can meet water sport lovers there. Windsurfing competition takes place along the Arabat arrow.

We came there for the same reason - to catch the wind.

I didn't have kite experience before, but I could feel all the delights of kitesurfing when our friend rolled us on a tandem board. Great thing for those who want to learn to ride, but not dare yet. The parachute is fastened to you, then you put your feet in the board, and somebody experienced manages everything behind you.

Our friend Joy, in spite of his small size, is a dog with a big and brave heart. He hates staying at home at home, that's why he traveled all over Crimea and half of Ukraine. And every time he is very worried about everyone - runs into the water and does not take his eyes off the owners until they come ashore.

After surfing all day, we returned home with the last rays of the early evening sun disappear beyond the blue skies.
