[TRAVEL] Auckland, New Zealand #2
In continuation to my last post (Auckland, New Zealand #1),
If you’re keen on seeing the screensaver images of New Zealand (I mean, who doesn't?), you have to get out of the city - Take road trips!
The options to explore the north island are to rent a car or take an intercity bus for as low as $1. However with the latter option, but you will be restricted to visiting only limited places and longer travel journey.
Below is the list of places you can travel to by car/bus in the North Island, New Zealand.
Rotorua
The land of steaming geysers, lakes and geothermal pools located in the heart of North Island. Take a dip in the natural hot pool!
Hobbiton, Matamata
A must-visit place for all the lord of the ring fans! Even if you're not (like me), you will still enjoy it as the place is just too pretty.
Lake Taupo
This place is a very peaceful town and simply a pure beauty on its own.
Waitomo Glowworm Caves
As pictures were not allowed inside, i've downloaded a picture from the internet. Picture credits: Youtube.
Tongariro National Park
This is by far the best national park I’ve ever been to (not to say I've hiked enough to make comparisons because i'm not much of a hiker, but believe me, the view is surreal). I would suggest to go for the Taranaki falls track (approx 2-3 hours) and witness the great waterfalls and vast nature.
New Zealand is a beautiful country to visit any time of the year, and I highly recommend everyone to include it on your bucket list! Till then, I'll see you on my next one :) Thank you, everyone, for reading!
