Cebu tops look out is a mountanous part of Cebu City. It is a well known place to locals and to tourists who wish to have a break from strenuous life in the city . This place provides a healthy environment for visitors who wants to experience a breath of fresh air. Aside from that, it provides an entire view of cebu city and nearby cities and mactan island. Indeed it is an ideal place for relaxation and self-break.

LOCATION

Cebu Tops Lookout is situated at Busay Hills and Nivel Hills, Lahug Cebu City.It is located approximately 10 kilometers from the heart of the city and takes approximately 30-40 minutes of travel by a four-wheeled vehicle. Travellers who prefer to reach the place in a quick time may ride a motorcycle( termed habal-habal for locals) as an alternative. The place is not difficult to reach because of the improved road system. With breath-taking experience the place offers, different nationality tourists are always seen hanging out with their pairs, co-workers or friends.

HOW TO GET THERE?

1.By your own private vehicle

Probably it is the most convenient way to reach Cebu Tops Lookout. Just take note of the very sloopy road that is waiting for you on your way to the spot. If you are at Cebu City you can take salinas drive or any alternative routes near JY square mall since it serves as the best entry point to the place. I suggest to utilize google map as your guide.

2. By a Taxi and then by a motorcycle(habal-habal)

If you are from Cebu City you can hire a taxi to take you to tops.However, some taxi drivers may refuse to take you there maybe because of the slopy road they think there taxi can't handle. They will take you near or at JY square mall instead. From JY Square mall, you can negotiate a motorcycle(habal-habal) to take you to CebuTops Lookout and then vice versa. Usually habal-habal cost around 150-200 pesos one-way per person.
Usually motorbikers are negotiated to wait for the client to take them back to jy square after its visit is finish. Some bikers may charge for their waiting time and it is pretty fair for both the traveller and the biker. Note for the waiting time fee of the habal-habal drivers and pay only for what you have agreed on.I advise that you and the driver(habal-habal or even taxis) make a clear agreement for the fees before you ride for some of them may take advantage to the passengers especially to foreigners.

3.By a Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) and then by a motorcycle.

Budget travellers prefer riding jeepneys(PUV) to save money. The fare has huge difference between PUVs and taxis, but similar to taxis, PUV routes are limited only to JY Square Mall or just near from it. From there, you need to hire a 'habal-habal' to reach Cebu Tops Lookout. Some jeepney numbers that routes to JY Square Mall are the following: 17B, 17C, 04B, 04C, 04D, 04H, 04L and 04M. 4.Other Options

There are plenty of Vans for rent in Cebu. They provide a tour in a day into different Cebu spots according to the client's desired destinations.Cebu Tops lookout could be one of the destinations you can visit among other destinations through renting hired vans.
