(2/3) Weekend Getaway: Nagsasa Cove, Zambales
Photo of me again ruining the majestic view
Hello again, Steemians! Finally had the time to post my second weekend getaway for this early summer! So for now, I will share to you my awesome experience in Nagsasa Cove found in Zambales with my officemates specifically batchmates. This was supposed to be a new hires' outing but we are so good at drawing plans and time flies so fast and now we're already more than a year. Hehe!
We've managed to arrived at Brgy. Pundaquit before 5:00 AM since our UV driver drove so fast that we thought it was a joyride to heaven. So we took our breakfast in a small store near the shore before riding the boat.
Obligatory boat ride photos
We rode the boat around 6:00 AM. The real journey begins! An island hopping was on the top of the itinerary. Unfortunately, we can only visit one island which is the Capones Island since the waves were too strong on the other island according to the tour guide. So technically the trekking for the lighthouse in that island was also cancelled.

The Capones Island is not that far from the Pundaquit. We've arrived within just 10-15 mins. There were rock formations around the island that were wallpaper friendly as my friend said. The sand was so fine and the water was so clear. We've stayed there for 20 minutes to feel the place and also take a lot of photos.
We were still appreciating the beauty of the rocks and the waves when our tour guide called us for departure. As I've said, we skipped the island of the lighthouse and went straight to the Nagsasa cove and the rest was history! You can see different shades of blue in the water. The sand was so fine that you may want to walk barefoot all day and night. The view was so amazing. We were in a paradise indeed.

Sunset Groufie
Since the there was no signal in that area, the time was spent so well talking, eating, singing, swimming and basically chilling. We first took a nap after eating lunch to regain energy and fully optimize it in the afternoon. Kayak and beach volleyball were available and free to use. The sunset was exceptional. It was like a painting that I cannot stop staring at.
During the night, we spotted flying lanterns from afar. They were so magical. Also, there were a couple of bonfires for each group. As we stare unto the flames, we also started having deep conversations. It was not bad to reflect in your life once in a while. Until the fire died and my friends went to stargaze while drinking a bottle of beer. I was so envious that time because unfortunately I had a gastritis and there were no medicines around. I just went to sleep with my other friend.

Day 2 swimming outfits!
For the second day, we had to trek the nagsasa hilltop. We woke up at 6:00 AM and arrived at the top at 8:00 AM (inclusive of the picture taking time). My stomach still hurts so I just stayed until the flag 2. We ate lunch after then went straight to swim again. The weekend passed by just like that. Reality sucks. :(
I really liked how you post stories like this and it just made me want to come back here again! Maybe we can go back years after with our other friends! Great photos!
