They wanted to take us on a boat ride around the bay, but Holi happened in India. We didn’t paint our faces and clothes with bright paint, which is already good. But the Indians categorically refused to work and the boats stood on the shore. Usually you won’t even take a step, but polite Indians are already approaching you and unobtrusively offering to ride a boat to Butterfly Island for ringing rupees. They even promise to show dolphins. Indeed, everything is done unobtrusively, in a mild form. See the bright bungalows on stilts? This is a feature of Palolem beach.
Along the entire length of the beach, colorful houses with guests are densely stuck. The first coastline in all its glory! I would not refuse to live in such a house for a week or two. And today on Palolem beach you can see a lot of boats, even somehow unusual.

On the other hand, we will have more free time. And on boats they will ride us on Agonda (maybe).
So, what is good about Palolem beach? Why is it considered one of the coolest (if not the coolest) beaches in Goa?

Rumor has it that the Beatles once hung out here. Who knows…
This is the farthest destination, then we will move back towards North Goa, closer to home. Here we will enjoy the rest from about 10 am to 3 pm, then we will go to Agonda, and after Agonda we will meet the sunset in the fort of Cabo de Rama. We missed the Cola beach, we can’t get there.

They didn’t take us on boats either, for Holi, but they promised to try to organize a boat on Agonda beach. If there are no boats there either, part of the money will be returned to us. Accordingly, here on Palolem we are waiting for breakfast and lunch. Fun!

Sie wollten uns auf eine Bootsfahrt um die Bucht mitnehmen, aber Holi ist in Indien passiert. Wir haben unsere Gesichter und Kleider nicht mit greller Farbe bemalt, was schon gut ist. Aber die Indianer weigerten sich kategorisch zu arbeiten und die Boote standen am Ufer. Normalerweise macht man keinen Schritt, aber schon kommen höfliche Indianer auf einen zu und bieten unauffällig an, für klingelnde Rupien mit dem Boot nach Butterfly Island zu fahren. Sie versprechen sogar, Delfine zu zeigen. In der Tat geschieht alles unauffällig, in milder Form. Sehen Sie die hellen Bungalows auf Stelzen? Dies ist ein Merkmal des Strandes von Palolem. Entlang der gesamten Länge des Strandes stehen dicht gedrängt bunte Häuser mit Gästen. Die erste Küste in ihrer ganzen Pracht! Ich würde mich nicht weigern, ein oder zwei Wochen in einem solchen Haus zu leben. Und heute sieht man am Strand von Palolem viele Boote, sogar irgendwie ungewöhnlich.

Auf der anderen Seite werden wir mehr Freizeit haben. Und auf Booten werden sie uns auf Agonda (vielleicht) reiten.
Also, was ist gut am Strand von Palolem? Warum gilt er als einer der coolsten (wenn nicht sogar der coolste) Strand in Goa?

Gerüchten zufolge haben hier einst die Beatles rumgehangen. Wer weiß…
Dies ist das am weitesten entfernte Ziel, dann bewegen wir uns zurück in Richtung Nord-Goa, näher an der Heimat. Hier genießen wir die Ruhe von etwa 10 bis 15 Uhr, dann fahren wir nach Agonda, und nach Agonda treffen wir den Sonnenuntergang in der Festung von Cabo de Rama. Wir haben den Cola-Strand verpasst, wir können nicht dorthin gelangen. Sie haben uns auch nicht auf Booten für Holi mitgenommen, aber sie haben versprochen, zu versuchen, ein Boot am Strand von Agonda zu organisieren. Wenn dort auch keine Boote sind, wird ein Teil des Geldes an uns zurückerstattet. Dementsprechend warten wir hier auf Palolem auf Frühstück und Mittagessen. Spaß!
