Since we rested in Goa for 3 weeks in a place called Mandrem, we could afford excursions for two days. Lying on the beach is also sometimes annoying!
So, we have already visited Hampi and Badami, IMHO, the best of the excursions in Goa, and rolled up to the beaches of South Goa (Palolem and Agonda). And now it's the turn of an unusual excursion. In fact, this is not a tour, but a rest from rest. There will be no guide, you will be brought and taken to your destination in the neighboring state of Maharashtra. If you are tired of the noise on the beaches of Goa (of course, if your beach is noisy like Arambol, our beach was quiet), then it's time to plunge into the relaxation of mountain peace and quiet. Plus, it has a cool pool! This is rare in Goa! Only the singing of birds, the rustle of monkeys in the bushes and complete meditation overlooking the mountains of the Western Ghats at an altitude of about 800 meters. There will be many photos!

Usually you are picked up from the hotel around 10-10.30 (North Goa), it takes about 1.5 hours to drive by car. From other areas of Goa, the road may be longer. There may be surcharges. In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast and even managed to sunbathe a little on Mandrem Beach.

Gorgeous, quiet beach! But, given the Spartan living conditions in the bungalow, we will gladly go to the mountains for a couple of days, at least wash ourselves with hot water (no joke, there was only one tap with water in our house and even cold water did not always flow) and swim in the pool. Check-in at the resort hotel takes place at 12.30, check-out at 12.00 the next day. Most importantly, you need a passport to move in! By the way, you can book a vacation directly at the hotel, you can travel agencies, the only difference is that travel agencies include a transfer in the price, around $ 60 back and forth.

Es können Zuschläge anfallen. Am Morgen hatten wir ein wunderbares Frühstück und konnten uns sogar ein wenig am Mandrem Beach sonnen. Wunderschöner, ruhiger Strand! Aber angesichts der spartanischen Wohnverhältnisse im Bungalow gehen wir gerne für ein paar Tage in die Berge, waschen uns wenigstens mit heißem Wasser (kein Scherz, es gab nur einen Wasserhahn in unserem Haus und sogar kaltes Wasser nicht immer fließen) und im Pool schwimmen. Der Check-in im Resorthotel erfolgt um 12.30 Uhr, der Check-out um 12.00 Uhr am nächsten Tag. Am wichtigsten ist, dass Sie einen Reisepass benötigen, um einziehen zu können! Übrigens, Sie können einen Urlaub direkt im Hotel buchen, Sie können Reisebüros, der einzige Unterschied besteht darin, dass Reisebüros einen Transfer im Preis enthalten, etwa 60 US-Dollar hin und zurück.
