The round tower/Vyborg

The round tower

Recently I visited the city of Vyborg. It is not far from St. Petersburg. The round tower is one of the attractions of this city. The round tower is a rock-type artillery tower, one of the two surviving war towers of the medieval Vyborg fortress. It was built in 1547-1550 by the fortification engineer Hann (Hans) Bergen.

Currently, there is a restaurant in the tower on the third floor.
