What country should I move to next? Please help me decide! 🙇💗

Hello fellow Steemians!

As many of you will soon know, I LOVE to travel, so much so that I wish I could do it every day. To get out there, meet the most amazing people, see the most beautiful things, eat the yummiest food (my favorite part! 😍)

I've always been this way, even as a little kid I remember keeping a tiny suitcase under my bed so I'd be ready to travel at a moment's notice. Unfortunately, the moment never came back then because we were very poor so travel wasn't something we could enjoy as a family.
I hope none of you can relate.

Still, it was all I thought about. Several years later, I worked and saved enough to accomplish my dream, overseas travel! Woohoo!

This wasn't one of those one to two week thingies either, this was a for a full $#@% year!
A year, my first time away from home in North America. Well, I didn't really consider it my home anyway. I'm not really sure why. I love my family and beautiful friends, but I always had to just ... go.

After my year in Asia, (which I'll tell you about in another post!) I came home, only to book another flight out the following week, which turned into a few more years away. I have this thing where I won't stay in a country for more than 2 or 3 years. Maybe it's a subconscious thing, like leaving before the honeymoon period is over? I don't know.
Several years later and now it's looks to be that time again but this time I'm not sure where to go.

👆 This is where I am now (not in the phone booth, but you know what I mean!) and have been here for some time. I've come up with some criteria for my next destination:

  • Good food 😛 Though honestly I've never had a problem, yay for not being picky!
  • Warm weather/possibly nearby beaches (but mild weather is fine too!) 🌴
  • Relatively safe, I know I know, relative term right? 🔑🔒
  • Lower cost of living than London, UK. Shouldn't be too hard, right? Heh😅

That's pretty much it, Guys. I'd also add that I don't worry about language, I pick things up pretty quickly when my motivation happens to be not starving to death.
For cost of living research I use sites like Numbeo and Nomad List, but I know there is likely a ton of destinations that I'm overlooking or just don't know about.

I'd really love to hear everyone's suggestions, so don't you dare be shy!
I'm also happy to answer any questions.
Thank you so much for reading this far, I appreciate you!

Talk soon,

Kira💗
