North Korea

Hi Steemit

These photos were taken by my Mother in Law. She went to North Korea recently by train from China. Internet was disabled at the immigration, and she could only visit the places arranged by the tour guide. But still interesting to see

What do you think? Would you visit out of curiousity? No internet while inside but everything else seems not too bad for tourists

Thank you for viewing

I love to travel and see how other people live so i would go out of curiosity, but it's not one of my destinations on my bucket list.....

thank you edkarnie, the way they live must be really different and interesting to see, unfortunately only guided tours allowed

Hi @edkarnie ,I hope you enjoy this trip that you just tackled, you look very happy at the window, you are so funny ha ha ha.
Blessings

I want to visit for the experience but I feel scary this country. 😆

thank you noopu, it's supposed to be very safe as they have strict laws, as long as you follow as guided by tour guide

thank you for advising. 😊😊

@djohan,
I have mixed feelings about this country! Seriously they have to improve a lot and hope you both country people can live peacefully as well!

interesting to see for sure! thanks for sharing!

thank you doitvoluntarily, yes very curious to visit, i think there is also a flight from Beijing, might take that route

The blue buildings are the DMZ, where North and South have talks its a boarder, would be a cool place to visit but can be dangerous I suppose

thank you bitcoinman, i see, last time i did not visit DMZ while in South Korea, because i visited 2 years ago while tension was high, would be safe now i guess

Amazing photos. It’s incredible to see more and more about a country the US people really do not know much about.

thank you floridanow, yes the less you know, the more interesting the visit would be. I will visit when the kids are a bit older

Hi @djohan ,excellent photos taken by your mother in law, I have traveled to several places, the GUAJIRA, a excellent trip , travel is fabulous.

Blessings and happy week

thank you martha75, interesting place the Guajira, there are a lot of places to explore on this planet :)

Wow! These are cool photos!! She was brave to visit North Korea!! How was the food?!
This is probably the only country without the internet. So could people buy bitcoin?!

thank you kaminchan, i think there is internet, but there is firewall so not allowed some contents to access. Food is not too bad, and the hotel too. Maybe they cannot buy bitcoin

Nice view in North Korea . Nice pics.

thank you pardeepkumar, yes interesting to see something different
