Beauty of paris city

in #travel7 years ago

Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. This holiday we decided to city in Paris spring this spring. We deliberately used the bus to go to Paris different from the holiday some time ago using the train. The reason for using the bus is to get back to the new atmosphere during the trip.
After traveling about 10 hours, we finally arrived in Paris. While in Paris we used Metro designations for subway transportation, which made it easier for us to move from place to place. To facilitate the event around the tourist objects in Paris, we use a special bus for the tour. There are four buses that are green, orange, yellow and blue. These four bus lines can take us to many beautiful places in Paris. There are two options offered by this tour bus, ie pay 29 euros per person for one day or 32 euros per person for two days. We also choose to pay for two days.

The first day we chose to use the green line. This path is the most dense path so no wonder we had to jostle to choose the place at the top because they want to enjoy the atmosphere of Paris and can take the best picture to describe the beauty of the city. It goes through most of Paris's famous attractions such as the Opera de Paris Garnier, the Louvre Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe and of course the Eiffel Tower. The second day we traveled around Paris using three other lines. The paths are not as green as the path but the views of Paris are presented no less beautiful. We can see the Palais Bourbon, Madeleine, and others.
Here is a little picture of the beauty of Paris that I capture through some photos.
Opera de Paris Garnier (Palais Garnier) was designed by Charles Garnier for Emperor Napoleon III. The baroque-style building was an important symbol of the 19th century in the Second Empire of France. Palais Garnier was built in 1862. This place is now widely used for ballet performances. Opera de Paris Garnier is one of the largest theaters in the world with a seating capacity of about 2,200. The opera house is 172 m long, 125 m wide and 73.6 m high.

At first the Louvre was built as a 12th century fortress, later converted into a royal palace in the 14th century. Currently the Louvre is one of the largest and most visited museums in the world. The late 18th century was the first time the Louvre became a public museum. Mona Lisa's painting is one of the most famous works of art in the museum. The glass pyramid built in 1989 by the American architect IM Pei further complement the grandeur of the Louvre Museum.

Notre Dame is not the largest cathedral in the world, but it may be one of the most famous cathedrals in the world. Bishop Maurice de Sully started the construction of the cathedral in 1163. The building is gothic and reflects the status of Paris as the capital of the French Empire at that time. This cathedral has a length of 128 m with two towers as high as 69 m. The top of the tower that reached 90 m was added in the 19th century by Viollet le Duc.

The Arc de Triomphe (victory arch) was built at the request of Napoleon in 1806 to commemorate his victory. The building was carved with the names of generals who led the French forces during the Napoleonic regime. The Arc de Triomphe was designed by Jean Chalgrin based on the Arch of Titus in Rome. The height of this building reaches 50 m. Details Relief Marseillaise decorates this building beautifully.

The Eiffel Tower is a symbol of the city of Paris and is the most famous building in Europe. The tower was built in the framework of the World Exhibition of 1889 which was held to commemorate the French Revolution of 1789. The height of the Eiffel Tower reaches 300 m. The structure of the Eiffel Tower was designed by Gustave Eiffel, who is also known to design an iron frame for the construction of the Statue of Liberty in the United States.

Palais Bourbon also known as Assemblee Nationale since 1830 is a building of the French Parliament. The Palais Bourbon was built by Duchess Bourbon, the daughter of King Louis XIV and Madame de Montespan. The building was designed by Italian architect Giardini and Hardouin Mansart, which began construction in 1722 and completed in 1728.

Madeleine is a church dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene. Because in France Magdalena is known as Madeleine, this great building is called Madeleine. It was originally designed by Pierre Constant d'Ivry architect who started in 1764 and was designed to be similar to the Invalides church. But then the design was replaced by Guillome-Martin Couture. He decided to tear down the unfinished building and start with a new design based on the Pantheon.

During the trip using the tour bus, we get audio guide facility. Using the headset that has been provided in each seat, we can choose the desired language program. There are about ten choices of languages, unfortunately there is no choice of Indonesian. Inside the bus is also available maps and leaflets about the city of Paris. Do not miss there is one machine to buy a wide range of drinks. Drink, yes something very important needed by the body to avoid dehydration during the trip. Understandably the weather of Paris when it was sunny and the sun was quite hot though not yet entering the summer.
In addition to the beautiful buildings typical of Europe, the city of Paris is also decorated by a long canal. Many tourist ships also offer services around Paris via the canal. The beauty of Paris can be enjoyed by the day or night. This short holiday was not enough to enjoy the beauty of the city. There are many other places we have not gone to like Disneyland Paris. Yet the holidays yesterday still provide a pleasant experience and make one of my dreams come true that is in Paris city with all its beauty. Hopefully there's another chance we can come back to Paris. Hopefully…
