The most beautiful places in France
The bay of Mont Saint-Michel
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful bays in the world, the Bay of Mont Saint Michel is located between Brittany in the South and the Cotentin peninsula in the North. At low tide, the bay is almost completely discovered and offers a grandiose landscape before being invaded again by the waters.
The Landes Forests
The Landes forest covers two thirds of the departmental territory. It is a forest of maritime pines that has been planted in order to stop the progress of the mobile dunes towards the interior of the country of Buch and for the delight of the walkers.
The dune of Pyla
The highest dune in Europe, the Pyla dune, is 500 m wide from east to west and 2.7 km long from north to south. At the entrance of the Bay of Arcachon, it moves inexorably, at the mercy of the sea wind, towards the interior of the country. Being constantly moving, its altitude, too, varies, but it reaches in any case more than 100 m.
The tropical forests of the French Amazon
Guiana is crossed by the Amazon and the Amazon rainforest. This territory constitutes a real reservoir of biological diversity of the biosphere because of the equatorial forest, which covers nearly 95% of the region.
The cliffs of Bonifacio
The high limestone cliffs of Bonifacio form a promontory for the city and are home to many caves, formed by erosion. The cliffs dominate the sea at 60 m height.
I will put the rest of my ideas when I have a little more time promised :)
