australia for me the most beautiful country in the world Part 2
The seasons in Australia
Australia is a country where life is good in any season. You can have all kinds of activities, almost anytime during the year. There are four seasons over most of the country and two seasons, one wet and the other dry, in the tropical north.
During the australian summer, which takes place from December to February, it is good to be outside. Come swim on Sydney's beaches or hike on the Overland Track in Tasmania. The Australian autumn, from March to May, is the season of flamboyant foliage in Canberra and the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Melbourne. The Australian winter, from June to August, offers skiing opportunities in the Australian Alps. You can also spend winter holidays in the sun. Snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef or SUV in the Simpson Desert of South Australia. The Australian Spring, from September to November, is the best time of year for whale watching and wildflowers as you explore the wineries of the Margaret River region of Western Australia.
In the tropical region of Australia, the dry season that runs from May to October offers pure clear blue skies and sunny days. It's the best time to enjoy Darwin's bustling outdoor markets, movies and festivals. The wet season runs from December to March. It is hot and thunderstorms with rain occur daily. Watch the rumbling waterfalls as you pass through Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks or hover over Katherine Gorge when the water levels are at their highest.
