If you haven't read "Raise the Titanic!" by Clive Cussler, you really need to. He wrote it about 7 or so years before they actually found the Titanic, and his estimate of where it sat was pretty much spot on. It's very much a science fiction novel, in that it's fiction but rooted in science. Good read!
