First Glamping Experience
Hello everyone! I was really out of Steemit world for like two weeks and gosh! I am longing of sharing stuffs to the community and without further ado, a comeback travel blog to reveal that I am so eager and excited to get back on track.
Being really busy with the hustle and bustle in the city, I just had to find ways to get out of it and find a place of solace and tranquility. Thank God for his graciousness, I finally got promoted and confirmed as a team leader (including the salary...wink) after 2 long years. To celebrate it along with new folks under my wings, I just gotta find the perfect spot to kick start my colorful 2018 and luckily, I saw a sponsored ad in Facebook and without a doubt, this was the one. (talking about love at first sight).
It was indeed a love at first sight. My agents as well were fascinated the moment we had arrive after our last shift last week. Riverfront Garden Resort is a great choice for a quick and affordable weekend getaway for people seeking a relaxing stay with nature. Located in Maragondon Cavite, it is roughly 2-3 hours from Manila on the usual traffic.
My agents as well were fascinated the moment we had arrive after our last shift last week. Working in the BPO industry, it is a must that every penny is worth and it really went beyond our expectations: Here some of the photos we had as we enter the place:
The ever traditional group photo travel memento.
The front villa upon entering the gate. Kinda remind me of the movie Cabin Fever but not the ghastly one since the building is relatively new plus the catchy teepee which is a headturner on the left side.
The side part of the front villa where we traverse on our way to our own spot. Hanging flowers and wood ornaments were simply decorated but are feisty.
The lounge area which is so spacious and enough to dine the entire visitors plus a nice spot to conduct indoor activities.
Nature is so awe-inspiring and breath-taking that once you have a taste, you definitely would crave for it again… and again. A few hours from the city, this place is a gem that offers nature at its best. The place is not that big, but the tranquility that it offers would want you to come and experience it for yourself. The place is composed of several trees and plants, and they have designed the resort so that it would be Instagram-worthy for you and me. Here are several spots where I and some of my social network junkie-people craved a lot:
()
The place has 2 swimming pools, 1 overlooking the vast river and the other one encapsulated by trees. Aside from that, they have set-up several areas where you can achieve your emote-lang-bes-instagram-shot. They are still making improvements on the place so who knows, they might add another pool or some other activity in the future. But right now, you can take a dip in the pool, emote in their set-up areas, and relax amongst the trees.

To back it up, we did have our crazy moments within the pool area. Consisting of mostly heterosexual males (one which is a lone Mama by heart LOL), I just had to name them "Team Sausage". I don't know if that sounds kinda inappropriate, vulgar or offensive to some yet everyone was just simply on the go for it and that's what matters for you. CDO should discover their new brand ambassadors and get these people paid on my behalf LMAO.
For our accommodation, we had actually made a reservation for two twin rooms good for 4 people each amounting 4,000 pesos. They serve food in the resort and deliver it to your table/room/cottage but since we already planned this a month in advance, we have to bring our own supply of food, drinks, and the like. To be fair, the rooms were neat and comfy enough for someone to really get a quick nap right away which we did upon arriving. The vanilla scent inside was the major key.
And since most of the photos I had taken during the night were not really that good, I decided to only take one which will suffice our so called "glamping" escapade. It will be never complete without... SMORES!
