Greetings fellow steemians and welcome to another great adventure of mine. This time around fellow steemians, I am going to share with you all a quick getaway if you are staying around Kota Kinabalu. Now, this place is not that far from the Kota Kinabalu city centre and it would only take about roughly 45 minutes to an hour by driving depends on the traffic as well and the place that I was talking about is the Sabandar Cowboy Town.

I recently went there and I must say that the place is pretty amazing, all the shops and the horse stable looks like you just went back to the old western era. Places like this usually have an entrance fee and it is quite affordable actually, the price per person for an adult will be only Ringgit Malaysia 10 meanwhile, I am not quite sure about the price for children as there were no children following us on that day hahaha. The operation hours for the business commence at 8 in the morning and close at 5 in the evening.

It is actually a great place for families mostly for the children as they have horses there and it is huge, bigger than the normal horses that we can find here in Sabah especially in Kota Belud. You guys can feed the horses and for a bundle of grass is only worth Ringgit Malaysia 2 and don’t be afraid of the horses as they are tame and by the way, you all can touch them. Besides feeding the horses, you can ride them as well for a price of Ringgit Malaysia 15 per person for 2 rounds of the horse ride. Unfortunately, I don’t have the chances to ride the horse as there were plenty of people queuing to ride the horse. They also have a mangrove park around there and oh, I totally forget to mention that they have a welcome drink where you all can get the drinks at the bamboo cottage around the mangrove park.

There are also two restaurants in the area where they serve either you would like an Asian cuisine or western cuisine. I guess that this post helps you guys a lot if you guys want to have a short and quick vacation with your family.
