Look at YOUR city through the eyes of a tourist

Hello my fellow steemies. My name is Daniel Cordoba. I joined steemit because I found that it is a place where one can share their thoughts, ideas experiences etc...with the whole world....and get paid for it....its phenomenal.

In this post I would like to point out how many of us today take what we have for granted....in this case...the city we were raised in. Many times I hear both strangers and even some friends talking about how they are tired of their city...how much they wish they can leave...(I'm sure many of you all have had similar experiences)

I have nothing against going to other countries...my best friend Dave (who may or may not join us on steemit...we'll see) spends the majority of his time traveling to Dubai..Ethiopia and many other places. As a matter of fact one of my goals is to venture through Cuba soon.

But for one to down talk their hometown is unacceptable. This is the place that molded you into who you are today.

As I meditated on this matter....I found that I know very little about the history of the land I was born in or how it came to be the beautiful scenery it is today. 

For that reason I have decided to venture my hometown.....to explore every inch of my city.....from the slums to the heights.....and I would love to take you all with me. Through videos and pictures I would love to show the world how beautiful Miami really is....through the eyes of a native...and hopefully wet your appetite to come and visit us.

By doing this I also hope to raise awareness to those around the world as to how they can better appreciate their hometown....

So today when you step outside of your house or job or wherever.....stop for a second and look at your city through the eyes of a tourist.....beautiful isn't it?
