Travel - Wine Tasting at Chateau Gruaud LaRose
For @kalemandra’s Monday Red Color Challenge, here are some shots of my favorite red beverage. These were taken in a beautiful wine cave at Chateau Gruaud LaRose near Paulliac, France.
The cave was down a very cool spiral staircase.
I visited quite a few chateaus on my trip, but this one was a wonderful combination of old and new architecture.
While the historic Chateau was very traditional looking, the tasting room was a very modern building built into the slope and it had a six story viewing tower on top of it.
Well said, a great combination of old and new! France has a lot to offer when it comes to old and historical, so as many other European cities.
This must be a really nice place. The buildings are amazing, excellent architecture, so is the parc! I'm sharing this post 🙂
Thanks Erika! I appreciate your ongoing support. At some point everyone is going to be tired of hearing about my France vacation, but it was great fun.
I won't be, son't worry! So just post whatever you feel like posting :)

This just might come close to being the best post for red that I have ever seen! My very favorite kind of red.
