WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @cryp1:
Hi Steemians, today I'm posting one my older pictures. This picture is taken in Nerudova street, historic street linking the Prague Castle to Charles Bridge via the Lesser Town (Malá Strana). On the back you can see the Church of Our Lady before Týn (Chrám Matky Boží před Týnem) in the Old Town Square on the other side of the Vltava river.

I rewarded @cryp1 winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Here is my submission:
I was walking across Charles Bridge at 5am, not a soul was on the bridge save for a few drunken revellers. I looked back and saw no one was in sight, the sky was brightening and the lamps were still on, with the statues giving an eerie silhouette. So I crouched low next to the stone and took this shot. Hope you like it :)
This image is such a classic! It's just very hard not to fall in love with it. It sure will shine as a main entry in today's contest. Great job!
Its a gorgeous bridge honestly. Thanks!
Peaceful scenery conjured up by the Mother Nature herself, captured outside of the tiny Silesian village of Nove Lublice in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. We get to witness some really stunning sunsets in summer here, don´t we? :)
One of the most characteristic features of the architecture of Prague is the Gothic towers, with they iconic “pointed roofs”. The photo shows the Powder Tower, it was located at the walls of the old town and it was one of its gates. Its name comes from the fact that it was used to store gunpowder during the XVII century.
The heart of Old Town Prague, where history comes alive
This is the heart of Old Town and a "must see" for all Prague visitors. There are several buildings that stand out. The most popular is the Astronomical Clock, housed in the Old Town City Hall, that can also be toured, and the Tyn Church and the St. Nicholas Church are the other buildings that define the square.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CESKY KRUMLOV
What a beautiful place. Very atmospheric and it is impossible to take a bad photograph - there's a surprise around every corner. Just wander where your feet take you - so many lovely little streets and riverside cafes. Beware the inconsiderate selfie-takers - totally unaware of their surroundings they will just stop in front of you without warning!
St. Barbara's Church
Absolutely gorgeous, and much bigger than I expected! The inside is remarkable, but the outside views of Kutna Hora can't be beat either. A must-see! Simply amazing building, inside and outside. You can walk to the Breuerovy Sady and take a look to the building from there as well.
St Vitus Cathedral
This spectacular Cathedral has the best stained glass windows I've seen! All made in very small crystals have detailed to the wrinkles of the tunics of the saints, apostles and shepherds represented. Although the structure is typically Gothic, the location within the Prague Castle and near the Alley of Gold makes it very interesting.
St. Nicholas Cathedral
Magnificent baroque church, breathtaking! You can enjoy from the nave on the ceiling and from the first floor. Altar and organ are also very impressive. Marble, gold, paintings and art - everything is presented in a very special summary. Best view in outside.
Velká Amerika
A stunning site for all ages, but don't get to close to the edge. This site is open to the public, but you can get into some trouble if you try to roam around at the bottom of the quarry. If you are in the Karlstejn area then you should pay this place a visit.
The Gothic cathedral of St. Bartholomew is situated on the main square in Pilsen. From the tower you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the town. I was born in Pilsen and I always loved to go to Republic square to se this cathedral. Interior is really beautiful and from Pilsen tower you can see almost whole city (but that stairs nearly killed me).
