Could be easily considered as some Antarctica landscape, but the truth is this is frozen coastline of the Baltic Sea, Lithuania after pretty long period of negative temperature. Very low shooting angle and very wide angle lens bringing quite unusual overall perspective for the scenery. Dying from the hot Europeans.. enjoy the COLD!

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

I was exploring the caves in Petra Jordan were people used to live and I came across this one cave that had a window with a awesome view. I was there during winter so it was cold out side but surprisingly inside the caves was alot warmer. Petra is an amazing place to explore! So many cool caves to check out.

Breathtaking colorful sunset over the Caribbean Sea in the picturesque bay of Punta Esmeralda. Unknown to most tourists, the bay is located just outside of the famous city of Playa de Carmen on the popular Riviera Maya, Mexico.
What a great shot that is! Well done.
Photo of a Bowmouth guitarfish. I took it at Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta (USA). It is a large fish with approximately 3 meters long, and it has an unique appearance, the fins are similar to the sharks but its mouth is quite different, because it is flat and looks like an undulated line. It is related with the rays.
Wow, that is a magnificent creature!
Indeed! I am glad that you like it.
What a moment watching the sun set over a remote part of the Indian Ocean from the West Coast of Mauritius. I went for an afternoon run exploring the Mauritian coastline and was treated by this view!
Amazing click Jaco!
Coming back to frozen Baltic Sea and amazing views which you could see during very cold and very calm periods of winter
Very low shooting angle and very wide angle lens again bringing quite unusual overall perspective for the scenery
Enjoy the scenery!

Beach in New Zealand
This beach on the coast of New Zealands North Island was located directly at the campground where I was staying at. At sunset, the pebbles in the foreground in combination with the rocky cliffs in the background were a fantastic motive.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
That is truly stunning!
Summer will be soon gone, but I know the place where there is always summer 😄

**Nordkapp-the end of the world **
Hi :), hope you have a wonderful day !.
So I took this photo when I was visiting Norway, and I thought that If I can put a photo for today contest it need to be this one (I'm new on steemit so this is my first contest in here :-) ). I don't have any photo from Antarctica (so it has to be an Ocean) , and Nordkapp is near Artic :D but is also cold place (in July was in here around 0 C :O) and it's also the end of the world - this is the edge - you can't go on by your feet, becasue in front of you is only the endless horizon of the north water....
Photo was taken by canon 40D , lens tamron 17-55 mm.
congratulations to your very first entry here ~ and with such lovely picture no less....!
Thank You for the nice welcome :) !
~ ✨✨ ~ I really like your title picture too...! And one certainly can never have enough of sunsets like I see them on your profile :))

Dahican Beach, Mindanao - Philippines
Because of Mindanao's reputation as a war zone, you won't see a lot of foreign tourists. Even some Filipinos from other islands don't dare visit Mindanao! In fact, most of Mindanao is quite safe and the lack of visitors means you'll often find yourself alone on some amazing beaches. This shot was taken at Dahican Beach, Mati Davao Oriental, on Mindanao.
Hmmmm, I want to get transferred there right now:)
Let me know if you ever want to go, I can show you how to get there :)
Wilsons Promontory NP- Victoria, Australia. The Sunset at squeaky beach over the endless range of the "Tasman Sea" From here it's about 200km to Tasmania. The entire area is beautiful. The ocean, beaches, nature... Breathtaking!
The sun looks so tiny:)
Thanks for the upvote ;)
Spending vacation time on the island of Aceh Singkil Some time ago. This is one of the calm beaches in the sea of Aceh, Indonesia. And the beauty of this beach is also covered by the amount of moss ... it's really beautiful when I take pictures on this beach.
Glad to see you back with this wonderful photo. Excellent job. Keep it up. Tomas
