Looking down on Cusco city from Sacsahuaman, Peru. Cusco city is the gate way to some amazing places including Machu Picchu. Sacsahuaman has an altitude of 12,140 ft above sea level so it was the closest I have ever been to the sun, it was a cloudy day when I was there, but none the less I got very sunburnt.

Sunset Koh Larn
I took this picture about 2 weeks ago on the Ferry ride back to Pattaya from Koh Larn. The sea was quiet and the light was beautiful as the sun was going down.

Sunset over the Nile
Wonderful colorful sunset while traveling up the Nile on cruise ship couple of years ago. Multidimensional composition with Nile at foreground and then coming forest and mountains far away.
Shot with long tele-photo lens compressing the perspective. Just beautiful landscape and great memories
Enjoy the scenery :)

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - North American Friday week #60 - winner announcement!
@justinmullet North American Friday entry:
Winter in Washington. I took this photo several years ago from the bench above the river, near where I live. I am blessed with fabulous views like this each morning on my drive to work, and get to see the river, forests, and elements every morning and afternoon. The morning I took this photo was especially brilliant with a fresh coat of snow from the night before and a clear morning's sun burning through the fog. What an amazing wonder nature is!

This is in the Amazon jungle of Ecuador. I did a boat trip with a local guide and a couple of other travelers. Our canoe went by the meandering muddy river and reached this Cuyabeno Lagoon at sunset. So we could admire this amazing view at the bank.
Somewhere in the middle of wild nature in Peru when I traveled from the city Arequipa to Puno, I took this picture from a bus. Combination of brown/red mountains and pink sky was like an infinite movie to me. I never get tired of looking at what’s happening up there. Rainbow is like the icing on the cake.
Andean landscape in Southern Bolivia
Southern Bolivia boasts with amazing landscapes. The high altitude of the altiplano region and the volcanoes make it a fantastic place to explore for tourists, but in fact, the landscape comes so close to Mars that NASA once tested their mars rover here!

The view of Cartagena from the San Felipe de Barajas Fort, in Colombia. The castle is located on the Hill of San Lázaro, and offer a unique view of the city and the sea.
It looks like a river but it is the narrowest part of a huge lagoon. A few feet further on, it empties into the sea on a white sand beach. This beach is surrounded by the lagoon and by two high hills, so that it is well protected. You can only go by boat or make a good trail, going up and down the forest.
Easter Island.
I came across this fallen Moai on easter Island, one of the statues that fell over while being moved and never made it to its final resting spot on the island. I noticed that the locals put a horses skull near the fallen Moai but I never found out why.
Golden Sunset at Mansa Beach
Playa Mansa is located in the town of Lecherías, located in the coastal area of Anzoátegui state, Venezuela. This beach owes its name to that it always remains with its very calm waters. Playa Mansa, is also known for its beautiful sunsets, where blue and gold combine to offer visitors a delight for their eyes that would make anyone sigh to give themselves the gift of being there to contemplate this beauty.
Sunset at Playa Lido. Venezuela
A wonderful place to watch beautiful sunsets and observe the practices of kitesurfing. Excellent to enjoy the landscape that nature offers, to relax and charge us with positive energies. Playa Lido is one of the eastern beaches of the country most visited by visitors and residents. It is one of my favorite places to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
Nice deserted road of Argentina. I did a lot of bus travel in my life, but the Argentinian bus were the best. Nice comfort, nice service and nice view. I would recommend to anyone to travel by bus to discover this country.
