This is the Marina Bay Sands, a large and magnificent resort fronting the Marina Bay in Singapore. The resort has a large hotel, a convention center, a large shopping mall, a museum, two large theatres, several great restaurants, a skating rink and an enormous casino. On top of the complex is a large SkyPark with an infinity pool which offers amazing views of all of the Singapore bay area.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #20 – winner announcement!
@mibreit-photo Australian Monday entry:
The spectacular view from the top of Roy's Peak on New Zealand's south island. It's 1400meters up from the car park just a few miles outside of Wanaka. I was up there for sunset and was the only person staying in the freezing November winds. It was great to have such a view for myself :-)

@photofreediver Tuesday of Antarctica and world´s oceans entry:
To see icebergs in Greenland is the dream of many people. For our freedivers team this was also the purpose of our trip. But on the tops of the icebergs, we certainly did not stop. We became one of the first people in the World who saw the beauty and grandeur of the underwater part of the ice giants.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday #20 – winner announcement!
@ansharphoto African Wednesday entry:
Quiver Trees at Dawn, Namibia. My first day in Namibia did not disappoint. I traveled with a group of photographers to the Quiver Forest, a place for which the photographs had not prepared me. The Quiver Forest is actually privately-owned land — the Guriganus Farm — and the “trees” which make up this otherworldly forest are not actually trees at all, but plants. Their fibrous trunks are easy to hollow out and were once widely used as quivers for arrows.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – European Thursday #20 – winner announcement!
@skiesandsports European Thursday entry:
Lake District Sunrise. This one is from my favourite place in the world, the Lake District here in the UK. It's such an incredible place - unsurprisingly FULL of lakes! - and perfect for sunrise/sunset shoots looking over the incredible landscape! If you are ever in the UK I'll give you one tip, don't bother with London, that's not even close to the best part of the UK!!

Sucre, the capital of Bolivia, is an amazing city. While in the closeby city of Potosí huge amounts of silver were mined, the rich mine owners preferred to live in Sucre and built a beautiful white city. The church you see in the background is San Felipe Neri, one of my favourite buildings in Sucre.

Love the tone of this photo! And the 2 figures make it look like a movie scene =)
Great entry!
After a few hours' hike from the village El Chaltén in Argentina, I reached this turquoise glacier lake in front of Mount Fitz Roy. It is an unforgettable experience trekking in this region with magnificent peaks and stunning waterways.
Another postcard by Donica :)) Breathtaking scenery...
🙂Thanks @phortun!
Wow, I like the dramatic peaks in the background ;)
These “smoking” peaks could be seen most of the time during the hike :)
This is quite an epic image! Excellent job with this one. Thank you!
Easter Island Chile.
Moai at Ahu Tongariki
My Girlfriend and I got to explore Easter Island for 6 days at the start of 2017. We hired a scooter and rode around the island. I got to snap this photo with the little bird sitting on the Moai 's head, which I thought was pretty rad :) Easter Island has left an impression on me that will last a lifetime.
Wonderful photo, dreamy.
Thank you ☺
I like the dark mood of this photo :) Nice composition with the big head in the foreground.
Thankyou. It was a rainy day which set the mood.
Thank you so much for your great entry! Have a great day and stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas
Thanks Tomas 👍
Bolivia for me is South America’s most underrated country. This photo portrays just how colorful and breathtakingly beautiful the country is. Southern Bolivia is one of my absolute favorite regions in the country. You can book multiple day jeep tours crossing national reserves and mountain peaks and you will see nature at its finest.
Judging by this picture it sure is underrated. Looks just stunning. Tomas
Machu Picchu is one of those places one has to visit in his lifetime. So during our travels through Peru we made sure to include it in our travel itinerary. When we went up in the morning though, it was raining and there was no magic light, which I was hoping for. But standing there was still a magical experience.
I have never seen an image of Machu Picchu just like this one. Looks great! Tomas
At the high plateaus of the chilean Andes I discovered this bunch of cute donkeys standing in the dry desert in front of black vulcanoes. The threatening dark clouds of a upcoming bad weather front fit nicely to the black vulcanoes and give the image more dramatic...
Thank you so much for your submission. What a great entry. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas
Beautiful image! Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you very much, I am a regular follower of your publications and even sometimes I think that my photos are not so good, you convince me otherwise.
I travelled the Paso de Jama (a mountain pass) between Salta in Argentina and San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. The scenery is out of this world. This road is full of hairpin turns and bends and with an altitude of almost 5.000 metres, you have to be cautious not to get sick.
Thank you for your submission. The winner announcement will be coming later on today. Tomas
The Bay of Juangriego, Margarita - Venezuela.
View from a restaurant in the Bay
Located northwest of the Isla de Margarita, the Bay of Juangriego emerges with its imposing beach guarded by the Fort of La Galera and its incredible sunsets of reddish to golden hues considered one of the most beautiful twilights of Venezuela. In addition, the Bay is an ideal place for fishing and tourism since there are many restaurants located just meters from the beach where you can see the beautiful sunsets.
Thank you so much for your participation. Tomas
This photo was taken on Playa Negra in Costa Rica, which is a black sand beach that stretches more than 10 km. It´s beautiful, very calm black sand beach where you can find many sand dollars . Best thing about Black Beach is its simple beauty (no people, no bars).
