@travelshots Asian Sunday entry:
The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is one of Singapores landmarks. Unfortunately it's allowed only for hotel guests to relax at the infinity pool on the top. Nevertheless it's possible for everyone to buy a ticket for the "Skypark" that is located right next to the pool. So you can enjoy the same breathtaking view of Singapores skyline from there!

@mibreit-photo Australian Monday entry:
Dinosauer Eggs at Moeraki beach.. Or mayby just uniquely formed rocks?? In any case it's a extraordinary location with all those round boulders littering the sand. The morning I visited I was even lucky with the light and got those beautiful pastle colors.

@softa Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
The island of Tenerife is a great place to shoot seascape photography because it lies in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. So the only thing that can block your pictures are just clouds. That's one of the reasons why I come back every year, and every time I bring pictures like this one.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #32 – winner announcement!
@travelingmom African Wednesday entry:
A colorful Sunset in Madagascar mesmerizes us with the artistic richness of a impressionist painting. The water picks them up, to remix them into a powerful symphony of shapes and hues that surround us on all sides. Marvelous!

@fotogruppemunich European Thursday entry:
Here you can see a boathouse in a small lake in beautiful Berchtesgaden in Germany. The lake is called Obersee and is located right next to the Königssee. It had rained on the day and the sight was overwhelming.

This is the Manhattan Beach Pier, just south of Santa Monica in Los Angeles, CA. An original version of this pier, built in 1901, was destroyed by a storm in 1913. This current pier, constructed in 1920, is still the oldest concrete pier on the West Coast of the United States. Today, this beach is well known as a popular volleyball beach (there were dozens of courts directly behind me taking this photo) as well as a surfing and fishing spot. And as you see, it's a great place to watch a sunset!
No surf over there?
This is a very nice sunset pic, the colours are beautiful and the long exposure gives a great movement to the water.
Awesome capture :)
Thanks! There was surf, but there was also a 15-30 second lull between waves, so I have a mix of surf and calm shots which was kinda ideal!
Bryce Canyon
Although Bryce Canyon is not as "Grand" as the Grand Canyon, its unique rock formations are an allure by itself. During sunrise and sunset the reddish stones start glowing and it's just wonderful to sit at the rim and watch the scenery. One day I would love to see Bryce Canyon during the winter time and the red stones covered with snow.
What a fantastic image. That place is something else. I hope to make it there one day.
Horseshoe Lake, Canada
Near Jasper in the Canadian Rockies you can find this clear lake, surrounded by endless trees and nature. It seems you always can look down to the bottom, what a gem in this pot of jewels
Thank you so much for your wonderful contribution. Truly appreciated.
To give something back I featured your contest in my last post.

Thank you so much for giving us this nice platform to share our pictures with the world.
The Horseshoe Bend is very popular but an absolutely highlight in every road trip. During our @roadtrips we have spent a lot of time exploring the area around Page. The landscape is totally beautiful and there are so many secret places to explore. Don't miss this area in your road trip!
Amazing photo with stunning colors! Horseshoe Bend is definitely must see. And congrats for photo once again, I didn't succseed so much with mine at that place :)
Yes, it's not so easy to photograph. Next time I need a fish eye lens ;)
Cool pic! The canyon looks so amazing from there. I guess you can probably also go along the river by boat, can you?
This would be an awesome trip, sailing the great canyon ;)
Yeah we saw some boats down there, but I don't know any details. Would also love to do a sailing trip ;)
That sure is an amazing place and the image. It has been a while I got one submitted.
Congratulations :)
Taken two days ago on the Oregon Coast. Seriously one of the most epic moments of my life. I've been to the coast many times but this spot was new to me. Back in Seattle now but will be dreaming of this place..
The fierce power of the ocean captured in your fantastic image. I wouldn´t have even noticed the person if Wes did not point him out. Thanks!
It is time for first photo of my recent trip through USA. Today I am sharing perhaps the most famous arch on the world – Delicate Arch.
Everyone who has ever visited it knows, that lighting is the best just before sunset. It is definitely worth waiting for…
Please click on the image to enlarge
I have also been at the Delicate Arch at sunset but there were always people before the arch ;) I am currently blogging about my USA road trip from New York to San Francisco. Would be happy if you give it a visit ;)
Yeah it is pretty crowded there most of the time. I have send my girlfriend to stop the row of people wanting to go to the Arch for a minute and she deserved a huge applause from people with "real" cameras. Haha.
Will definitely stop by your blog. Seems like you have awesome potential :)
Haha, that's a great idea. Guess someone like your girlfriend is very useful when you are a photographer :D
The place look magnificent, great time to capture it though! The warm light is perfect to accentuate the red - oranges colours of the place :)
Great clic !
Thank you for your kind comment :)
Another amazing pic from those series. Wonderful!
What's on the Horizon?
View from Captain Cook Monument in the Resolution Park in Anchorage, Alaska (https://goo.gl/maps/bci88H5nCa72).
This picture is an HDR image created by combining three exposures in HDR Efex Pro 2.
I'm no photography expert but I love that you included the binoculars! really adds to the composition in my opinion. Great shot
Thank you :)
Great composition. Thank you so much for sharing with everyone. Tomas
Thank you. The competition was tough here...
Lost in the craziness of time square! That place is the most insane area of New York, I remember walking through the street, turning around a street corner and suddenly finding myself right in the middle of what looked like a totally different world.
Location: Time Square, New York, USA.
Thats right, New York and the Time Square are amazing with so much things to explore. I am currently blogging about my USA road trip from New York to San Francisco. Would be happy if you give it a visit ;)
Yeah mate, I will check this out ;)
That sure is a crazy place. I cannot even imagine living in the city as big as New York. I prefer small quiet places:)
Hahaha, I totally agree with you but I've got shared feelings! The ideal to me is living in the back country but not too far from a big city. NY is a golden mine when it comes to architectural photography or street photography.
The Glacier National Park is one of seven national parks and is located in Montana, United States, bordering the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. It contains many glacial areas as shown in the photo, which cover a large part of the park. It is a beautiful place to walk and meet, it is cold and the views are wonderful.
breathtaking view! I cannot imagine what it would have felt like to stand on that edge!
A wonderful sensation, the difficult thing for me is to endure the cold!
That looks so unspoiled. Beautiful place, wonderful image. Tomas
The Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is for me the most amazing national park in America. All the different kinds of geysers and hot springs with their beautiful colours are unique in their own way. This one is the Grand Prismatic Spring.
Not only the place is amazing but also your image. Truly wonderful.
