Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans and African Wednesday to give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #6 - winner announcement!
@jon24jon24 Asian Sunday entry:
Cordillera Mountain Ranges
This photo was taken at highest peak of Mount Pulag which is the second highest mountain peak in the Philippines. We had to hike for 3 hours before getting to the campground and we had to take another 2 hours hike from the campground to the peak. It was raining throughout our hike so it wasn't pleasant as we wanted it to be but in the end, it was worth to see the beautiful sunset. We could see the Cordillera mountain ranges along with the golden clouds lying around the valleys.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #6 – winner announcement!
@betterthanhome Australian Monday entry:
This shot was taken on our first Australia Trip back in 2013. It shows the "Three Sisters" in the Blue Mountains National Park which is about 2 hours drive from Sydney. The Blue Mountains are the perfect location for hiking.
@schmidthappens Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
This is a favorite photo of mine I've always wanted to post somewhere and this challenge is the perfect place for it! This is a photo of the Baltic Sea taken in 2009. I was aboard an overnight ferry connecting Stockholm to Tallinn, Estonia. Nothing really compares to an overnight ferry, a great way to travel. This was sunrise before docking in Tallinn. I think I love this photo because I have such wonderful memories of the trip!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #6 – winner announcement!
@schmidthappens African Wednesday entry:
Zanzibar, an island off the coast of and part of Tanzania, is one of my favorite locations I've visited in Africa. There are so many beautiful, colorful boats, many waiting for the tide to come back in like these. The natural beauty of the island along with the historic Stone Town make it a great destination in East Africa.

Hello.
This is my first entry to the challenge:
Natural Bridge Connecting Two Tiny Islands At La Gaiola, Napoli
Good luck to everybody!
Two tiny islands, rocks actually, connected with a natural bridge.
You can find this beautiful scene at the La Gaiola west of Naples, Italy.
Islands are a part of a protected area, a nature park Marine Protected Area “Gaiola Underwater Park”.
Apart from this natural wonder, you can admire sea life and submerged remnants of the buildings from Greco Roman times.
Very nice picture! To enter @czechglobalhosts contest you need to add a 30 to 50 word description to your picture and remember the image has to be your personal! Good luck! :)
Hm, I did add the description to the post itself. OK, I'll copy it here too.
Oh, ok sorry I didn't notice. I love that it's a natural bridge by the way! That's so interesting, I would love to check it out one day. I only passed by Naples, Italy so next time I will have to actually visit the city and what it has to offer.
Great entry for the challenge! Stay tuned for the winner announcement! Tomas
We took this photo when we visited Milan Duomo (Milan Cathedral). There were options to take the stairs or the lift to get up to the top. The view there was absolutely stunning! As it was getting into winter, you can see the snow on top of the mountains from far away.
Wow! I love that you could see the snow on the mountains! Love this picture <3
Yes lucky it was a clear day or else i don't think you can see the mountains
I love your entry, beautiful. Thank you so much for participating! Tomas
Alright. Another nice shot from Germany. It's a monastery in Drübeck in the Harz region and its location is just lovely. I visited there in September. The second time in my life, I first came here over 30 years ago. I really forgot how wonderful this area is
Thank you so much for your entry but I picked other images to go further this time. Have a geat day.
The wonderful water castle in Glücksburg at the Baltic Sea, the place where we got married:) During the summer time as well as the winter time it's worth visiting the castle. You are able to rent the place for celebrations and the castle is also a museum.
Enjoy your friday and it's almost weekend:) Everybody at the Steemfest 2 have fun in Lisbon!!!
Great as always!
On my very first trip overseas with my (now) wife, we spent an epic few days in the 'chilled' city of Amsterdam. Belief it or not, but this photo was taken at 11pm at night... just after sunset.
I love the late summer sunsets in Northern Europe. Great shot!
Agreed. Thanks @schmidthappens. ;)
Great pic Jaco! Thank you for entering the challenge.
For this week's entry I have to give a shout out to my favorite low-key beautiful city, Rotterdam. Amsterdam gets the spotlight, but I was so intrigued and entranced by my visit to Rotterdam. The city was entirely destroyed during WWII and had to be rebuilt. That's why there aren't historic buildings here. Instead, there is beautiful, stunning modern architecture and art here, setting itself apart from most European cities. Any visit to Amsterdam should include the quick train ride to Rotterdam to see this city.
Great entry! Like always:)
To my mind, one of the most unbelievable beaches in Menorca is Cala Pregonda. Orange, red and yellow earth, green plants and blue sea - what could be more amazing? Just one should be keep in mind that the shoes can become orange and it is very difficult to clean them.
That's a gorgeous shot!
Thank u!
Gorgeous place!
I agree)
What a great picture for the challenge. Thank you so much!
I took this photo a few weeks ago at the Danube Tower in Vienna. It is a 252m high tower, which has a viewing platform at 150m and two revolving restaurants which offer an amazing view above the city.
Beautiful night shot!
Thank you so much for a great entry! Please stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas
Gibraltar Rock Panorama
We refused to pay for the cable car up to the top of the Gibraltar Rock, so we had a nice one hour hike until we reached the top. Stunning scenery of the Gibraltar bay and Algeciras port.
Beautiful view!
That is absolutely wonderful. Brings back some great memories! Thank you so much for participating.
This is the "Callejón de los Gitanos" in Mijas, Andalucía, Spain, It is a typical andalucian village small street, in a mountain village, you can visit Mijas on a Burrotaxi, that is a Donkey Taxi, also the view from this viewpoint through this street is excellent from the mountain to the sea. What you can see down the street is the fields, the sea, and the blue sky.
What a lovely place! Thank you for sharing that with everyone. Tomas
You are welcome, I like this hidden places.
