Here I have a fresh photo from the Austrian Alps. I took it last weekend on a hiking trip in the Stubai Valley. It was a wonderful calm morning. After thick clouds had still obscured this view throughout the night I was very happy to wake up at 4am to a clear sky. It was pure magic.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #48 - winner announcement!
@itchyfeetdonica Asian Sunday entry:
As a national symbol of Cambodia, Angkor Wat is the country’s prime attraction that draws a large number of visitors all year round. It's even printed on the national flag. Despite the crowds, watching sunrise over the towers is an unforgettable experience for me. Enjoy this beautiful scene right after the sunrise!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #48 - winner announcement!
@vcclothing Australian Monday entry:
This was the amazing view I got to wake up to every morning while I was staying in a air bnb in Windwhistle New Zealand. The name was fitting as this place is super windy and the wind whistles through the trees. It is also very cold.

The moody skies of the Antarctic Peninsula are such a beautiful sight. Although overcast a lot of the time there is still so much to appreciate and the terrain is such a magnificent sight.

@halinaj African Wednesday entry:
I took this photo during my trip around Gran Canaria. And I'm lucky I didn't plan to be in place like this during the sunset :). But luckliy for me I've been. This is a place on Gran Canaria (Artenara) where is statue of Christ a little bit similar like in Rio De Janerio :) But ofc a little bit smaller.

This is another photo from my visit to the beautiful mountains in Switzerland a few months ago. I took this photo just outside the small town of Gletscherschlucht, in the region of Interlaken. There are so many hiking trails connecting these small mountain towns together to make a great summer workout along with an incredible view!
Looks so refreshing compared to our hight temperatures and heat we have right here. What a great image. Thank you Matt.
Buna Spring in Blagaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina
The river Buna has some of the freshest water in Europe. Its spring is a popular destination that I visited during my day trip from Mostar around the Herzegovina region.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
That sure looks very inviting!
Mountain valley Flatvaddalen in Trollheimen national park in Norway. Small crystal clear lake below the most characteristic summit in the area - Innerdalstårnet (1521m). Autumnal trip from last year.
Big panoramic shot made from vertical shots. Hand made :).
Great composition, and awesome pano job. This is a super cool picture. I like the symmetry between the water and the mountain peak
Thanks, I was trying to catch the symetry on place, it is not perfect but looks good.
beautiful place for shoting ! Great work !
Thanks, Norway is full of such places...
Yeah, I know ;)
Great to see you participating with this awesome image!
Thanks, I will keep trying ;). Have a good day!
Venice the city in the water. For me an unforgettable experience to visit this city and take pictures. In the picture you can see the Canal Grande and the famous Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute.
Amazing place and amazing image! Well done.
Thank you so much!
(this is a comment, not an entry): OMFG look at my last Venice picture I posted!:
~ 😊🌟 ~ most astonishing coincidence sincerely :)
That is astonishing!
👍🏻😊
This week's entry from we @travelingstories was taken at an hidden gem called "Melisani Cave", in the island of Kefalonia, Greece.
It is a cave you can access by boat, a few hundred meters from the sea with an incredible blueish subterranean river... Its top fell down during an earthquake and revealed its beauty to the outside world!
What a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
Thank you! :D
What a beautiful piece of nature. Looks so peaceful and unspoiled.
Blue hour picture of a dragon on the Dragon Bridge in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This is definitely one of the coolest bridge features I've ever seen. The EU should adopt a resolution requiring all future bridges to have dragons on them and any existing bridges to be retrofitted with dragons.
this is really gorgeous ~ ✨✨ ~
Wow! Love that statue with the towers in the back. Tremendous shot.
The "Elbe" after passing the czech border, going west towards Hamburg. A pretty sight, with a sunset like this one. Surrounded by Sandstone mountains, green valleys and endless plains on its way up north west.
Utterly stunning! Well done!
a wonderful atmospheric image ~ 🧡🌟 ~
Manarola is one of five small villages in Italy, called Cinque Terre.
I've been in 4 of them. And some photos I will put here on steemit in future, so stay tuned :).
This place is so popular that since 2016 are some limits for daily visit for tourists.

I am planning to go and drive that coast at some point. Truly tremendous sites. Thank you for your great entry. Tomas
It's good Idea I've made that :) If you have any question feel free to ask :)
Sunrise in Rhodos/Greece
I took this photo on my first vacation with a boyfriend. And man, did we fight! But still we had a great time on Vlycha beach on Rhodos island (Greece). We even got up for sunrise one day so that I could take photos. Since then I always do this at least once every time I travel somewhere :-)
I wish I could do the same:)... Well worth the show!
Thank you! After getting up so early you can always snooze at the beach ;-)
