Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Life, Food, Adventure - Water is the elixir of life!
The world oceans feed people, they connect people, they can be peaceful and dangerous at once. Today we can even generate energy by tidal forces or wave energy power plants.
The fishermen look so peaceful during the sunset at the beach in Tarifa, Spain. It's the Atlantic coastline where the image was taken.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #12 – winner announcement!
@bollutech African Wednesday entry:
I enjoyed my days at Samburu National Reserve because this reserve is a rugged and semi-desert park located in Samburu district in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. The park neighbors the homes of the Samburu tribe of Kenya, a tribe known for their remote culture, pastoral and nomadic way of life.
This park has retained a naturally serene and quiet feeling. Besides the numerous wildlife found in this game reserve, the park is also a bird haven.

When I visited Iceland recently, I had a chance to step onto a glacier. I've been on one before in Alaska, but it's really an incredible experience to walk onto sheer ice that extends for miles and miles. There are other pictures that show exactly where the ice starts, but I've always loved this one that shows what it looks like looking towards the icy horizon. Btw, it's not nearly as cold as the picture looks!
Awesome! Never been to Iceland. Wish I can go next year.
Wow, very interesting, very beatiful!
Copenhagen - CPH
One of the greatest cites I've been to is Copenhagen, the danish capital. The city is filled with bikes, the danish people are great and there is so much to explore. Also I love cities where ferries are cheap and part of the public transportation system like in Hamburg.
La Sagrada Familia the unfinished master piece of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, located in Barcelona. The photo shows the Passion Façade, and it is decorated with sculptures depicting the passion of Christ.
This basilica is a landmark of Barcelona.
Cala Galdana in Menorca is one of the most popular places in Menorca. Surrounded by cliffs the sea is very calm, so families with small children feel safe to rest here. Though now everything is closed, with coming of warmth life will start here again!
Great photo!
Thank you so much for a great submission. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas
The old fishing towns on the greek coast are full of character and colour. This photo was taken in the ancient town of Methoni on the Peloponnese peninsula. The town is more known for it's tourists than it's fishermen these days.
Great entry, thank you for your participation! Tomas
Klaipeda Old town and yachts port on summer sunset. Was lucky to get perfect cloud formations and managet to get very nice shooting perspective catching the calm reflection

I visited Prague this year in June. While the weather was not always sunny, I got lucky this day and was able to capture this shot near Karlův Most (Charles Bridge) at the start of Golden Hour.
Once again, this truly is an amazing pic!
That's a fantastic picture 😃
Standing on the edge of this blue water, a thermal bath named blue lagoon located near by Reykjavik. The waters are warmed by the volcanic activity and we can see some yellow sulfur trace on the edge.
Location: Iceland.
Thank you so much for a great submission. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas
I usually prefer southern seaside destinations in Europe but I must admit that Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, made a good impression on me too. This is a view of the city center where you can find both modern high-rise buildings as well as old historical houses. Photo taken in April 2015 :)
Thank you so much for a great submission. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas
I took this photograph on a beautiful summer evening in Amsterdam. Riana and I spent all day exploring this beautiful and infamous city by foot. I loved it and the city only really comes alive at night!
Thank you for your contribution. I love Amsterdam myself!
