Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

Here is another photo taken from Lake Macquarie during sunset. We were there only for a day but what lucky enough to see these beautiful clouds during our evening stroll. I like to reflection of the different colours onto the slightly rippled lake. All very surreal.

Not just another photo, another amazing photo:)

Thanks Tomas! Glad you liked the photo!

This is my entry and is photographed on the main island Viti Levu in Fiji. To be more precise at a beach in Nadi bay. We stayed here for only one night before heading to the Yasawa Islands!

What a beautiful colours!

A few years ago, when we travelled through New Zealand for the first time, we went to the South-Eastern part of the North-Island for a few days. I still remember when we checked in at the caravan park at Castle Point we were the only people there. We had a great time. One evening I hiked up Castle Rock for this view here.

SO beautiful... NZ is on my to visit list... this is my kind of country!!

It's really a dream destination! Make sure to safe up enough time to travel at least for 3 weeks plus. It has so much to offer

My mother-in-law is over there at the moment, they're staying on the South island this trip. I think it is the North that interests my husband and I more though! Yes we'd like a good amount of time to do it... thank for the tip! : )

New Zealand pro:).....

The dry Aussie Outback with the road beckoning you to explore further, the tall gumtrees and the hot sun hitting the dry grasses... I took this photo on the road from Armidale to Gostwyck in the rural country areas of New South Wales in Australia.

Thank you so much for entering this stunning image into the contest! Tomas

Thank you @czechglobalhosts, that's very kind of you to say! : )

A view of the mountains surrounding Queenstown's lake. If you want a peaceful and quiet place to relax, this is the place! Small wave hitting the shore are creating a defective atmosphere to dive in this fantastic view.

Location: Queenstown, New Zealand.

I shot this picture at Whitsunday Island, next to the great barrier reef in Australia. The beach is called Whitehaven Beach, the color of the sand is almost white! Paradise :)

Thank you so much for our submission. Looks beautiful!

In Sydney, we get some pretty cracking electrical storms every now and then. This bolt of lightning literally lit up the sky over Sydney's CBD almost hitting the iconic Sydney Tower.

Out of this world, what else to say!

I flew from Melbourne Tullamarine Arpt to SYD, Kingsford Smith Airport. With Virgin Airlines, flightnumber: VA 841. It was around 13:20 Sydney time. The view out of the plane window on the skyline of Sydney with its Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Operahouse was one of the most breathtaking views i've ever had in a plane! I'll never forget this moment.

It is indeed beautiful! This is an awesome sight to see on a plane - I bet it made you excited to touch down in Sydney. 😄

absolutely! i could not wait to explore this beautiful city!

Nice view over the bay ;)

What a take-off!

Mount Ruapehu, New Zealand

This mountain stands tall in the centre of the North Island, surrounded by plains and other mountains. This place is very popular for skiing!

If there are concerns about NZ and the continent, maybe just call it Oceania as this is the geographic location that both are located in. It also helps cover all the small pacific islands that aren't covered otherwise :)

Thanks ever so much for your great submission. Have a good one. Tomas

No, thank you! I hope to join again when it comes back to one of my two continents! :)
