Hello fellow Steemians!
I am starting the week #36 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.
If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.
After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.
• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @amyalfatasya with the following entry:
This "TAREK PUKAT" activity is still attached to traditional Aceh fishermen who catch fish in the sea using "PUKAT" Even this tradition is still active in working by the fishermen in Indonesia in particular. this activity is usually done in the morning and afternoon, and some even do at night. for the Indonesian people, catching fish in this way is an activity that is still a traditional choice.

This is a photo from my October 2017 visit to Hong Kong. I’m such a big fan of this city because it’s so modern with sleek, giant skyscrapers. But, it retains and respects its traditional history as well. Add in the natural beauty of mountains and water and you have a world class city.
Yangtze Cruise
A special experience to be on a small cruise ship with 296 Chinese people and an older couple from the Philippians. People look at you like your are from a different planet! They smile at you at the dinner table because you look stupid when you eat with chop sticks;) The 4 day cruise upstream offered a very close perspective on the Three Gorgeous Dam project and what it meant/means for the people and environment. I'm happy that we treat our planet with respect in most parts of the world. China has a long way to go... :(
OMG amazing shoot
Splendid!
Nice post
Thank you.
Truly awesome entry!
Thanks. Scene not so common.
I was lucky to be witness of this amazing sunset during my last year year’s travel in Indonesia. It was at the end of our trip, when we were cruising with boat at Rinca, Komodo NP, Padar. Unforgettable experience where you have a feeling that you are at the end of the world.

I saw three sunsets in Komodo this year and all of them were stunning!
Perfect place for sunsets :)
What a fabulous sunset. Thank you for lightening up our days.
Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur's Batu Caves are one of the most amazing temples I have been to: Not only is the entrance to the cave temple guarded by a giant statue that overlooks the city, the cave temples are also home to thousands of bats and dozens of monkeys!

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
How high is it??? Incredible.
43m according to Wikipedia ;)
That looks like a pretty interesting place to visit. Great to know more about it through your entry. Tomas
It's an amazing place to visit! :)
This is one of the landscapes which are not easy to forget, the last stop on a 4 day motorbike tour of doing the Hagiang Loop in Northern Vietnam. The town was called Du Gia and I got up super early to capture this.
Beautiful atmosphere
Thank you, I'm happy it came across in the picture.
Getting up early really paid off since your image is absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you!!! I was filming was well ...
And so happy the town was still asleep, it made it very special.

Tourist destination beach lhok seudu "Aceh Besar, Indonesia" no doubt about the beauty and feel of the beach. The beach is about 30 kilometers from the city of "Banda Aceh" is one of the most visited tourist attractions of local and Asian tourists. The beach is only 10 kilometers from the highway is very beautiful when the sun sets. Even some time ago there was a sailing ship belonging to foreign citizens who are enjoying the beauty of this Lhokseudu beach.
Supeeeeeeeeer.
Great shot
Wow, what an amazing shot that is. Truly exceptional.
Thanks you so much .. help me to stay here
One of the fishing villages in Banda Aceh precisely in Syiah Kuala which every day fishermen make a living by looking for fish at sea using a boat. A very relaxing place to enjoy the beautiful sunset in Banda Aceh while looking at the activities of fishermen coming home from the sea and collecting fish for sale.
Mantaaaap
Makasih om
Wow, that is fabulous!
Thank you @czechglobalhosts 🙏
First morning of vacation in Marmaris. Turkey few years ago. Haven't really got known yet about nearby coastline locations, so just was shot from the balcony of hotel room.. Though Marmaris is actually situated on a seaside, it doesn't have direct sea view from the main city. There are still some hills, but somehow they are making the scenery maybe even more interesting combined with perfect sunrise colours
Enjoy it :)

My pleasure to participate.. :)
While traveling in Indonesia, I had the chance to spend a night in a volcano's crater. Mount Kawah Igen is well know for its blue flammes that you can see during the night after climbing to the top of the volcano... This really is something to see!
Location: Banyuwangi, Indonesia
I also posted an article on my blog:
