Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #25 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans

One of the great things about my work in television production is being able to travel around the world. But it's a double edged sword when I travel for work. Basically, I had a total of 16 hours total in Bahrain (most at night) so sadly I didn't get to see much of it. But I did get to see this!

This is the Al-Fateh Grand Mosque in Manama, Bahrain. It's one of the largest mosques in the world with the capacity for 7,000 worshipers at one time. The mosque was built in 1987 and now also houses the National Library of Bahrain. The dome is made entirely of fiberglass, making it the largest fiberglass dome in the world!

Isle Ogoy, Lake Baikal

Lake Baikal is one of the most evocative places in Siberia. Like Russia itself, it is vast and ancient, perhaps one of the oldest lakes in the world. An enormous lake formed by the shifting of tectonic plates, Baikal’s blue depths contain roughly one-fifth of the world’s fresh surface water. It’s staggering in its size and depth, and stunning in its beauty.

That sure is stunning!

Tomas I think this image is copied from the internet.
Can we use the image From the internet?
Giving credit to the author of that image?

@abdulmanan @czechglobalhosts This image is not copied from internet, but captured by me during photo trip to Baikal in March 2016. I have RAW file for this image and can prove it is mine. Also it is displayed on my website - https://www.ansharimages.com/Stock-Images/Russia/Baikal/ .

By the way - why do you think it is copied - did you reviewed my profile and my other social networks to think so?

I think it was a misa understanding, is that website is yours?

Today I'll show the photo, that I made during my trip to Vietnam not with a mirror camera, but with a NIKON 1 AW1 compact camera. One evening I went to the Lake of the Returned Sword in Hanoi with my family. It is a natural reservoir located in the center of the Vietnamese capital.
The history of the lake is linked with the name of Le Loi, a fisherman peasant, who later became a landowner and a king. Being a commoner, at the beginning of the XV century he headed the liberation movement, because in those days, Vietnam was occupied by the Chinese. If you believe the myth, to win the war, Le Loi was helped by a tortoise, who gave him a magic sword.

Amazing shot! Thank you so much for sharing! Tomas

Bringing Burj Khalifa to life required a combination of visionary ideals and solid science. In the process, the project amassed an awe-inspiring number of facts, figures, and statistics.

Enjoy this night view!

This is a photo I took during a trip to Lao Cai, a mountainous province in northern Viet Nam. My photo is about a small village of H'Mong people. The H'Mong are among the 54 ethnic groups recognized by the government in my country.

The sun was just beginning to break away from the horizon. And the fishermen are already dragging their little boats into the water. Here on the shore at this time only fishermen and photographers. Both of them catch something. Fish or good photos. Even the dogs are still asleep.
Fishermen spend a lot of time in the sea. And I was very surprised when I saw how small their catch was. But they have no other choice. After all, everyone has a family that is waiting for him.

Namsan Tower, Seoul

This was an image I took from Namsan Tower in Seoul. The sunsets here are amazing, it is one of the few positives of the air pollution.
