Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dimiimp:
The Vrtba Garden. Superb garden very well maintained on several levels. The entrance is not visible from the street, you have to cross a small alley. Relaxing and cool place. The walk is nice. You have to climb to the belvedere which offers a magnificent view of the city and Prague Castle in particular. Very nice pictures to do.
I rewarded @dimiimp entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Průhonice Park and Castle
Neo-Renaissance castle and nature just a few kilometers from Prague. It is one of the largest landscaped parks in Europe, with an area of 240 hectares, located in the rugged valley of a meandering river. The park is on a UNESCO World Heritage List.
Church of St. Jacob the Greater, Old Town, Prague
The church was built sometime in the 13th century as part of the Minorite Monastery. It burned down completely at the end of the 14th century. It began to be repaired by the Hussites. But the church was not damaged by the Hussite movement because it was protected by the local butchers' guild. However, the repair was not completed until the 17th century. The church is still incomplete today, it does not have one tower built.
Cesky Krumlov
Despite having seen many photos, I didn't imagine that the small town was so big. Castle, noble palaces, monastery, churches, streets and alleys, bridges and paths along the river, rafting routes, taverns and restaurants, etc. High traffic areas and lonely corners, especially at night. A real blast from the past, with many different panoramic points. The risk of overbooking is around the corner but it is the price of success.
I have to say, we visited a lot of towers in Prague to get a good overlook over the city. We love to visit the highest points in cities to have a overview. In Prague we visited a total of three towers. T golden city, is not called the city of towers for a reason. From alle Towers we visited the best was the Tower on the Petrín. In combination with the high hill beside the old town Prague, the tower reaches a very high point. After going up 299 steps you reach the height of 63,5 Meter, you will be overwhelmed by the lookout.
Truly spectacular St. Nicholas Church in Prague, Old Town. Small in baroque style, it is made up of two towers and a huge green dome. Captivate its beautiful frescoes in the vaults and ceilings. A beautiful lamp hangs from the main lantern that when looking at it the neck is twisted. Spectacular the pulpit, the organ and the four giant images, called The Fathers of the Church, that look at the viewer almost intimidating.
The Prague metronome is a metronome mounted on a hill in the Holesovice district of Prague. In 1991, at the time of the Universal Czechoslovak Exhibition in Prague, it was decided to put a giant metronome on the place of the monument to Stalin on the old pedestal. According to the idea of the author, the architect Vratislav Karel Novak, the movement of the metronome 24 meters high above Prague should have emphasized the inexorable pace of time. The length of the rod was 20 meters. According to the original plan, at the end of the exhibition the metronome was supposed to be dismantled, but then the city authorities decided to leave the landmark.
St. Barbara's Church
This Cathedral is not only beautiful up close but has a beauty the extends from far away. There is a little hike to its door but is so worth it. Be sure to take advantage of the second level in this Cathedral the internal view from up high is spectacular!
Just as beautiful as everyone says, Cesky Krumlov is a victim of it's own success. Like Venice, it's a tourist honey pot but very well done. There are a lot of genuine arts and crafts in amongst get the touristy stuff and just about anywhere you stop to eat or relax has it's own beauty. The river is wonderful and well enjoyed.
The Vrtba Garden
I’m so glad I took the time out to visit these gardens. I was amazed to find them through a doorway right off the street. Easy to miss, but I hope you don’t. The gardens are very well manicured and beautiful. You can walk the gardens to different levels. Once at the top, the views of the gardens and city are stunning.
On the Old Town Square you can take pictures of every house, Tynsky store, town hall, the clock is infinite, they are all very beautiful and unusual. And on the Old Town Square it is necessary to eat a trdelnik, they are sold around the clock, very tasty!
