Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dali-gis:
On the Charles Bridge is a real gallery of thirty statues and groups of sculptures, mostly Baroque. Most of it was done even 300 years after the beginning of the construction of the bridge, so at the hinge of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Today, the original statues have often been replaced by copies.

Sometimes we ask legitimate questions when we want to know and acquire more info. I was confused initially about how the tram, public buses and individual and corporate private cars can all ply and operate on the same route / road simultaneously without complications or collision.
With time, i grew to understand programmimg and timing.
A shot from the beautiful prague city
Great pic to be featured on a Sunday afternoon. Have a great day.
Thank you
Close-up of a bust of Ludwig van Beethoven at the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau, an opulent chateau complex found in the Silesian part of the country. Beethoven, one of the world´s greatest and most recognized composers of all time, loved the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau and he visited it regularly.
Panoramic photo of the courtyard of the Prague Castle at the center there is the St. Vitus Cathedral with its Gothic façade and roof, however its main tower was built in Baroque style. It can also be seen the Obelisk which was erected as a memorial of the First World War. At the right of the image there is the Presidential Palace of the Czech Republic.
View of Prague during a crazy hot summer day. It's been taken from the area of Prague Castle (couple of minutes of walk from the castle). I remember I wanted to do a handstand picture there but it was soo hot my sis told me to fuck off and that we should go to the city centre to hide between buildings :D
St. Vitus Cathedral was the first Prague attraction,
which I saw coming out of our tourist bus. It immediately catches the eye. The monumental cathedral attracts attention to itself. It is so huge, typically Gothic, but at the same time when you look at it there is no sense of gloom. Beautiful exterior that you can admire and admire.
By the way, the cathedral was a long construction: it was built with interruptions for as long as 600 years. The Frenchman Matthias of Arras began construction of the cathedral in 1344.
Nice place for light hiking and cycling. Many beautiful places to visit: from Mikulov to the hills, castle ruins and wineyards of Palava. a certain angle place looks like a remote beach without tide Mork. Magical piece of nature and landscape.
That looks like a perfect cycling trail.
When you arrive at the Municipal House the mosaics, the impressive porch with its gigantic and graceful statues fill you with admiration. You want to penetrate inside or the discovery continues.
We had tea in the elegant cafe of the ground floor, so we could admire at leisure all the details of the decoration .the chandeliers, the art deco woodwork, the marble fountain the sun coming afloat by the big bays with beveled edges. All are luxurious.
Day by day thousands of people walk by the Charles Bridge, the most tourist bridge that has Czech Republic which crosses the Vltava River from the Old City to the Lesser Town. It is the second oldest existing bridge in the Czech Republic.
This has a fabulous atmosphere with so much going on with entertainment provided. This is the heart of the old city, especially you get your bearings from here to the Jewish quarter and Charles bridge and many streets lead off this important traffic free zone.
Hello Everyone!
This is the hilltop with the source of the Elbe not too far away. Beautiful walk across Krkonose offering some stunning views. We chose an extended version of this hike, which was 43km long.
That was quite a hike, well done!
