Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all excited about the weekend already. Picturesque vineyards in Velke Bilovice, the largest wine village in Moravia. While the Czech Republic is known for making some of the best beers in the world, it actually produces good wines too. The southern part of the Moravian region of the country is where most of the best vineyards can be found. Source: Shutterstock, author: KajzrPhotography

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words. I will then go through your submissions and upvote those that meet the requirements. Let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

I am really happy to see more and more great photos being submitted to this challenge every day. Yesterday was no exception, we had several awesome entries featured in the photo challenge, including this amazing shot by our regular contributor @austiclees with the following description:

Every now and then something amazing happens in an edit. I preset to you a different view of Saint Peter and Paul Basilica. From this one location, you can have several different views of Prague, and they're all mesmerizing. Enjoy some beer from the beer garden while you're here and feed the swans down the steps by the river.

I took this photo at the main gate at Gothic Tower of Charle Bridge. It shows different heraldic seals. The coat of arms with the eagle and the other with the lion, corresponds to the Hapsburg house. The construction of the bridge started under the King Charles IV, who belonged to this house. Charles IV was also Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.

Nice! What a great close up! Tomas

Although the Krizik Fountain is a pretty famous tourist attraction in Prague, I think it hasn’t been featured in this challenge yet. So let me be the first one to introduce you to this spectacular light show perfectly coordinated with dancing performance, music and impressive water effects. The main stage is surrounded by a huge amphitheatre with a capacity of 6,000 people so you don’t need to worry about getting a spot there :) Image taken in summer 2015.

Great entry! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us!

Beautiful aerial view of Prague dominated by the famous Zizkov look-out tower. This modern tower with the crawling babies by David Černy is located in Vinohrady. It is easy to reach because you can see it from everywhere. Also it is the tallest building in the city (more than 200 m).

I love this picture ♥ ♥

Thank you so much for your entry! Great pic!

So today's picture is from Lovers' Bridge in Prague, near the John Lennon Wall. People put locks all over the bridge to show their love and nearby is a water goblin. (According to google.)

Re-post from a few days ago :(

Great entry, thank you for re-posting! Tomas

And again a parade of bridges on the Vltava.
We really wanted to find the point of shooting, so that as many bridges as possible could be lined up on one line. And then I specifically waited for the panorama to hit several ships at once.
Unfortunately, this was the last shot for my tripod. When installing
it broke the clips.
Prague view

Great effort = epic photo:)....

Thanks!
Yes, when I broke the clips on the tripod the forces were significant)

Synagogue in Libeň (Ludmilina str. 1) is located in Prague's district of Libeň. This three-aisled building in Neo-romanticism style with a rectangular floor plan was opened in 1858. During the Second World War the Jews in Libeň were gradually deported to concentration camps. In 1941 the Libeň Synagogue was shut down and converted to a warehouse. Since 1995 the building, to that day known under the name Synagogue in Palmovka or Libeň Synagogue, started to be regularly used for social events and cultural activities in the area of fine art, theatre and music.

Thank you so much for your entry! Have a great day. Tomas

We continue our journey downhill from the parliament and church. This tunnel is under a building and provides a silhouette of some one looking at me photographing them. That must be the Vltava in the distance.

Before visiting i never really thought of Prague as having canals. Turns out it does! They call it Čertovka (The Devil's Channel), but it's called Little Prague Venice. You can take a boat trip that lasts about 45 mins....

I didn't know that! Thank you!

I love that place! Great entry. Thank you so much. Tomas

Autumn view from castle Cesky Sternberk. Guess, in the past these lands belonged to the castle.

Interesting fact about Cesky Sternberk – it is private. State returned it to legal owners during the process of restitution in early 90s. While the outside view of the castle is not so “luxury” as royal ones (of course), the interior is very nice, with some pictures and some things in baroque style – together with aerial view from observation desk it makes castle rather interesting for tourists ;)

Nice one! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. What a great entry. Tomas

Just one day after a heavy rain we had some beautiful sunny afternoon. Around city you could see everyone is much happier.
I stumbled upon a family enjoying a ride in small boat and feeding birds. Also you can see that Vltava has changed its beautiful color because of the rainy days before.
