Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @bittru:

Cesky Krumlov, Charming Renaissance style-town
A wonderful break from big-city travels in Prague, just three hours by bus. Looks like a Disney re-creation, but it's all real! The town has done a great job of preserving and restoring its historic character, including the lovely castle (complete with live bears in the moat). If you are a theatre lover, don't miss the rotating theatre in the castle garden (afternoon & evening performances) and the Baroque Theatre tour in the castle (one of only two fully restored in all of Europe). Good food, good sights, good shopping, nice offering of outdoor activites (we went canoeing for half a day into the countryside). Lots to do but at a relaxed pace.

I rewarded @bittru entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

the church of santa barbara in kutna hora is really beautiful, it is astonishing for the exterior, different from the usual gothic cathedrals and for the quite imposing interior with the presence of stained glass windows and frescos showing the city life.

Great to have an image of Santa Barbara's church entering the contest. I just love that place. What a great entry for today's contest. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. Tomas

A snapshot taken during the Basketball Champions League between my home club BK Opava and the fanous Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki. We lost the game but I still enjoyed it very much as the match had a fantastic atmosphere created by both the home fans and the PAOK supporters :)

In my entry of a couple of days ago I mentioned that Trabants are quite popular in the Czech Republic and they are used in strange ways. When I visited the Czech Republic I saw the advertisement of this Czech movie "Trabant at the End of the World", showing the popularity of this car from the former East Germany. The advertisement shows the cars in the Bolivian salt desert.

The Nelahozeves Chateau is a 16th-century building, one of the most important late Renaissance buildings in Bohemia. Permanent Chateau Exposition A view of the noble interior of the Lobkovic family is a collection of twelve period rooms, which illustrate in detail the life of the influential noble family in Bohemia in the 19th century.

Strahov monastery houses a very famous photo opportunity of a beautiful old library. You can’t enter without a tour guide but as an individual you can still poke your head in and capture that iconic image. Don’t miss the on display illuminated manuscripts. You have to pay to enter, pay more to take pictures and pay a little bit more to take videos.

One picture from Vrtba Garden in Prague. Garden is situated on the slope of Petrin Hill. You have to pay the entrance fee but it it’s worth it. It’s a beautiful place for Weddings or some celebration but also chilly place where you can read a book, enjoy silence in the middle of Prague and take a beautiful photos of statues and Prague castle.

Another creation featuring the church of Konárovice during November time ~ ⭐️ ~ It is an as beautiful as ancient one and mass is being celebrated merely once a month any more — for such occasion the locked gate that I am standing before is finally opened & free are the mystic grounds to be explored...! ~ Personally I was lucky enough to also find other ways inside... but I think this should better stay a secret for now :)

In every season, in every weather, everyday, Prague looks different. That's why it makes sense to keep going through it. You will always see something else.
And after a few years you will notice that the trees are higher or that they are felled, and new ones are planted instead. And the overall scenery is different. And still beautiful.

Cesky Krumlov: so romantic
The Old Town is a treat: small shops and restaurants are busy and interesting, prices are good, and the architecture is fascinating, especially in old hotels, restaurants, and of course the castle itself. The Old Town is in an oxbow of the Vltava River: floods have challenged but not beaten the citizenry, and when we were there (only a day or two after the roads became passable), the place was ready for business in every way. We loved our visit: that's three times in a dozen years, and we'll hope to come again.

Definitely not a must see of Prague unless you're a die hard Lennon fan. But it is a cool thing to walk by and only takes a few minutes to see if you're nearby. What really is cool about this is you can spray paint just about anything you want on the wall without feeling bad for vandalizing a clean building.
