Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @sk-russell:

Chko pálava, wildlife sanctuary in Mikulov. Very nice and not very demanding walk from Pavlov over Devin ridge towards Mikulov. Beautiful views to famous Czech vineyard countryside. What we have seen in one and half day was really great. For sure we are coming again with proper plan. Beautiful landscape, ruins, tourist paths and nice wines!

Photo of a detail in the ceiling and dome of the Spanish Synagogue of Prague. It is called like that since it was built in the Moorish revival style. Its construction took place in the second half of the XIX century.
It is located in the neighborhood of Prague called Jesefov.
From the photo it can be seen that the interior is beautiful decorated mosaics forming geometrical patterns.

This really shows that you have to look all around you as well as above you. What a beauty well worth featuring in today´s contest. Have a great day. Tomas

I am glad that you liked it. Thank you. I appreciate your support.

View of the Church of the Holy Spirit, one of the most important churches found in the historic center of Opava. Located on the Masaryk Boulevard, next to the buildings of the Silesian University, the church was originally built in the Gothic architectural style but in the late 17th and early 18th century, it was supplemented with Baroque features.

At the last visit to Prague Castle I was forced to find new compositions because the sites I had planned were closed or fenced. Because of this I found a couple of places that I want to take pictures in the future. And I did a few interesting photos.

Prague Castle
Located on the knoll hill, it is a must to visit. It is a huge building overlooking the city. There are many places where it is possible to make beautiful pictures with magnificent panoramas. The St. Guy cathedrals in the castle is impressive because of its size and architectural beauty.

Another great shot from the charles bridge. It is indeed a beautiful place. I really like the colour blue and how it is gently touched in this photo. I had to target the boat as it moved and made my 'shutter' ready for a capture.

Lovely hilly countryside with well-marked trails. Some quite steep. Worth the climb for the views. Can be crowded at the top. If you like wine and history, this place is a worth of a visit. The town is quite small so one weekend is enough to see most of it. Really nice view over the town of Mikulov from the Palava hills.

The Old Town Square is of course the centrepiece for the city of Prague, not only because its famous astronomical clock, but also because you have to walk through it to get to. This beautiful square never disappoints and certainly is the hub of the city.

Prague Castle has been an important symbol of the Czech state for more than a thousand years. It was founded in the 9th century and became the seat of Czech rulers and later presidents. The castle, one of the largest complexes in the world, is made up of historical palaces, offices, church and fortification buildings, gardens and picturesque spots.

Gardens in Petrin hill in Praha. Thing why people usually talk about Petrin is that bigass tower which is there and offers amazing view on the whole Prague. Well, as you can see, when I was there, it was super foggy and cloudy and I haven't really seen anything from that tower :D But at least, I enjoyed nice gardens which near that tower :)

Hi everybody!

Today I want to offer you another beautiful view. This photo was taken on the hill top next to the Prokop Valley. My girlfriend is entertaining herself and I am practicing capturing the movement. You can also see 'Smíchov Train Station' and 'Žižkov Television Tower'.

Very original. That is a nice picture taken.
