WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @nenio:

Statue of King Charles IV, King of Bohemia and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and the famous Charles bridge was built under his rule. This monument is located next to the bridge. This statue was done by the German artist Ernst Julius Hähnel in 1848.

On a promontory overlooking the valley, the gothic church of St Barbara and the baroque Jesuit College (now the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region) in Kutná Hora stand proud of their heritage, and rightly so, as they are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. They are fairly easily accessible by train from Prague and make for a great day trip.

(As an aside, I am starting a Czech Gallery series at https://steemit.com/travelfeed/@tmayd/czech-gallery-introduction-and-metronome and will be adding other countries over time. Let me know what you think, and if you have problems with seeing the photographs, as I am struggling with the technical aspects of writing a blog.)

One of the most beautiful pics of church Saint Barbara in Kutna Hora that I have seen in a long time. Well worth to be featured as the main entry in today´s contest. Tomas

Thank you very much for featuring me on today's post. It was worth walking down a little way to get some distance from the sights (and the tourists) and get a different perspective.

Golden sunset over Ostrava - Marianske Hory captured from a high-rise apartment building next to the Futurum Shopping Center. Located in the north-east part of the Czech Republic, Ostrava is the capital of the Moravian-Silesian Region and the third largest city of the country.

I am not very keen on Ostrava but that sunset is a stunner!

Unusual side view of the National Museum, an iconic Prague landmark and the largest museum in the Czech Republic. Covering a range of disciplines and collecting fields from the natural sciences to specialized areas of the social sciences, it is one of the best rated museums in the world, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

We walked throughout the stay, yes we can testify that all the streets of Prague are paved and that it hurts the feet. The lesson we learned is that never again will we leave without a cream for muscle pain.

Mala Strana
It is one of the oldest districts of Prague with the Hradčany and Staré Město (the Old Town) which frame it respectively to the west and east.

A very comfortable shoes is a must:)... Good point!

Statue of King Wenceslas Riding the Dead Horse is Reversed.
This statue hangs on the ceiling of Art Nouveau Lucerna Palace in the city of Prague. This statue looks very unique and different from other sculpture because it is in reverse shape.

Great entry! Thank you so much!

This picture was taken in 2012 in Brno on my way to Balkans. I was hitch-hiking and I need to say that for the first time I gave up and took a train :( we stucked on some road before Brno. I was there only for 2 days and I think that need to go there one more time one day so then will have to more to write about it ;)

Fabulous entry! Thank you so much. Tomas

Where the President's house is located, the first President, Thomas Grogor Masharing, is on display. The main psychopathic palace is the first courtyard from the castle gate, and the second courtyard from the Mathias Gate. Matiyas Gate 164 te Gate to the west of the city.

Králický Sněžník is a mountain, located on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. It is the highest peak of the Śnieżnik massif. It lies between the city of Králíky and the Kłodzko Gap that separates it from the Rychleby Mountains. A statue of a baby elephant lords over the surrounding area gazing throughout the year at the views of the Hrubý Jeseník, Orlické hory, Krkonoše and the Polish Soví mountain ranges.

As I wrote yesterday I went on trip on Saturday. This trip had couple of purposes. 1. Walk my dog Remy. 2. Just enjoy being outside. 3. Gather as many interesting pictures as I could :D And I did. I visited also Lednice. It is co close to my hometown and last time when I visited Lednice, it was like 3 years ago. So, I had to fix that. There were many people outside because the weather was pretty good. A lot of couples, children and dogs. I took picture of this lookout tower – Minaret. I also took other pictures but I will share them with you next time :)
