Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @lightcaptured:

Some time ago, I had decided to stop wasting money and energy putting up birthday parties for myself but instead going to beautiful locations I haven't been before. Prague was chosen as a long standing desired travel destination of mine. I was really impressed by the beautiful and well maintained old city of Prague. I only wished I had much more than those four days I had in order to make much more beautiful photos. And, of course, collect much more memories. This is a long exposure photo taken on the beautiful Charles Bridge (Karluv most), a must see I have to say! I was so lucky to see a garbage pick-up truck coming my way so I managed to include its headlight trails so they draw nice lines leading the eyes towards the arc of the Lesser Town Bridge Tower. Thank you and have a wonderful week!

I rewarded @lightcaptured entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

I simply love sunsets in Prague. On a clear or cloudy days, you can see a magnificant sunset view everywhere around the shoreline of the Vltava river. And If you catch the magic hour you can catch a spectacular sunset and take a few amazing photos of Prague castle. This picture is from the roof of National Theatre.

What looks like some fancy parade are actually extensive police maneuvers during the latest Silesian football derby between SFC Opava and Banik Ostrava. The police did a great job this time and there was no violence at the stadium and in the streets so everyone could enjoy the game :) Opava won 2:1.

Skyscrapers of Brno, the second biggest city in the Czech Republic. They were built in 60-years of the 20th century by architect Roman Zajíc in post-modernist style. Actually, they are under reconstruction with the first of them already finished.
Ahoj!

Velká Amerika
One of the most stunning places I've ever been to. Beautiful waters but you will have to climb under and over a few small fences to get to the good stuff. It's barriered off but there's always a lot of people who've gone through. Definitely recommend if you're visiting Prague.

Old Town Square Prague
Gorgeous town square that's a must-see. Stand in any part of this huge square and look around - you will see nothing but beautiful architecture, cobble stone roads and walkways everywhere. This square is really the heart of Prague, and every traveler should visit it, especially for the early morning and at night, which is also less crowded.

No architectural masterpieces on this one. Just a calm sunny summer day which I've enjoyed above on Petrov several years ago. With friends and beers :D Czech people love beer so I tried to follow the culture as a true traveler :D

Palace of Czernins, Loretánské square, Prague, Hradčany
P1090541.JPG
It is one of the largest baroque buildings in Prague. It was built by Count Czernin in the mid-17th century for his noble family.
The palace was damaged many times and repaired and rebuilt many times. The original purpose served only for a hundred years. Then there were a lazarette, a shelter for the poor, a rental house, workshops, a barracks or an art gallery ...
Now the seat of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and most of his office is here.

Cesky Krumlov
I had never been there and it was therefore a great surprise this Bohemian jewel. It really deserves a break of a few days! Lose yourself in the alleys, explore the castle rooms, enter the colorful shops, take a boat ride on the river, enjoy the excellent Bohemian cuisine. You will not regret it!

Small beach on the banks of the river Moldava or Vlatava, in the small neighborhood or Mala Strana. A view of the river and very good bridges. But the best are the swans. many, white, very well adapted to people who do not fear or escape. you can feed and caress. A natural wonder in the middle of the city. Near Carlos Bridge.

Cesky Krumlov is a city worth visiting when arriving in the Czech Republic. It is better to go on your own, without an excursion, a large number of buses go from Prague, so getting there is no problem. The town is small but amazing places at every turn. It is worth staying in it for the night, in the evening when there is no crowd of tourists, the city looks more fascinating.
