Prague/Czech Republic - Monday photo challenge - share your personal pictures from your visit to the Czech Republic!
WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great start to the new week! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below. Just make sure you are familiar with the new rules and conditions of this photo challenge:
AS THIS PHOTO CHALLENGE HAS BEEN INCREASINGLY POPULAR ON STEEMIT AND THE NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN CONSTANTLY GROWING, I CANNOT UVPOTE ALL OF THEM ANYMORE, UNFORTUNATELY. THEREFORE, STARTING NOW, ONLY THE BEST 15 ENTRIES OF THE DAY WILL BE UVPOTED. OUT OF THOSE 15 PHOTOS, HOWEVER, I WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE THE WINNER OF THE DAY WHO WILL BE REWARDED WITH A BIGGER UVPOTE. THE WINNING PHOTO WILL BE ALSO FEATURED AS THE COVER PHOTO FOR THE CHALLENGE POST THE NEXT DAY, TO GIVE THE WINNER SOME MORE EXPOSURE AND PUBLICITY. HOPEFULLY, THESE UPDATES WILL ALSO MOTIVATE ALL CONTRIBUTORS TO SUBMIT THEIR VERY BEST SHOTS.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @jlgc:
I present to you a picture I take in my holidays in Prague in 2011, I hope you like it ... The Charles Bridge is the oldest bridge in Prague, and crosses the Vltava River from the Old City to the Lesser Town. It is the second oldest existing bridge in the Czech Republic.

I rewarded @jlgc winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other photos.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

View of Prague from Petřín (the hill on left bank of the Vltava River). You can see Prague Castle in the centre of photo. To the left of Prague Castle is Prague's district of Hradčany or the Castle District. On the right side of photo, below Prague Castle, is Prague's district of Malá Strana or Lesser Town of Prague.
Thank you not only for a great picture but also for an amazing descriptions for others know. Your entry will get featured today. Tomas
The beer tastes best on Naplavka! The Rašín embankment is currently the most attractive and lively spot among the river banks in the central part of beautiful Prague. You can enjoy the view of the Prague Castle in the distance and feed the swans and pigeons with bread.
Only Heineken is not the best beer to drink.
Me enjoying a spectacular scenic view of Prague from a lookout point at Divci Hrady (would translate as “Girls´ Castles”), a small neighborhood located between Prague Smichov and Prague Radlice. The image was taken on a cloudy summer day in June 2016.
Everyone has passed by Municipal House Hall thousand times, and it is really beautiful building. But during one night sudden storm had spoiled our plans, we went inside a nearby bar. Coming out of it smooth lights, after rain smell in the air and reflections on the street, and some beer inside my bloodstream made this building very magical. It is still my favourite photo from that visit to prague. :)
Yes, Municipal House certainly is one of the magical buildings in Prague. Thank you for your entry. Tomas
Yesterdays winner is beautiful, great shot @jlgc.
My picture today is from the walkway near the metronome. Looking out to petrin tower. I like the look of the two angels at the end bridge and the fall colors are really pretty.
I love it! Thank you for sharing. Tomas

@czechglobalhosts posted yesterday about the Prague Zoo, so I was inspired to dig up a photo from my trip to the Prague Zoo while I was there. This particular shot is taken from the hallway behind their monkey exhibit. Below you will find a picture of a monkey in said exhibit, but less in focus. I just really dug the framing from this spot.
The zoo there is amazing, and definitely worth the visit if you have the chance. You have to purchase a map, which I thought was weird, but their signage around the park will get you around just fine.
Thank you, that is great to give the post some support by submitting this wonderful entry. Have a great day. Tomas
Today i show my picture from the world famous Karlsbrige including the Bridgetower. I took the picture from another Bridge not far away. There weren't soo many people as on the Karlsbrigde so it wasn't that hectic to take the shoot :)

Smart move:)
This is the Old Town Square and the towers of the Church of Our Lady of Tyn are revealed. The towers are 80m high. There was already a church here in the 11th century. The present version was built in the 14th century. Construction was completed in the 15th century. This is the Square with the clock tower and the Jan Hus statue.
Great close up! Thank you for your entry. Tomas
Osada Jizerka
This photo was made during cycling trip in Lusatian mountains. There is a restaurant where you can refresh yourself by original Czech beer or lemonade. There is also museu of Lusatian mountains. It is ideal place for rest.
What a lovely place you are sharing with us today. Thank you. Tomas
Inside Prague Castle, the ceilings were very tall as I mentioned yesterday. Today I'm sharing a different ceiling which I thought was very colourful. If you look closely, every picture is different. We took a number of them which I will be sharing with you all in the next few days
What a ceiling!
