Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @bittru:

Cesky Krumlov is one of those small medieval towns that you simply must fall in love with once you visit it. The castle offers breathtaking views of the old town underneath it and in return old town offers even more breathtaking views of the castle above. Amazing place for a day trip!

I rewarded @bittru entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

St Bartholomew's Cathedral

Very beautiful cathedral and the oldest building of the city. An excellent representative of the strictly Gothic style. Located in the city center near the main attractions. This magnificent cathedral lies in the heart of Plzen, on the Square of the Republic. It represents the best legacy of the European Gothic architecture. Have some time and climb up to the tower!

The tower is really nice view. I can confirm. I am a native of Pilsen :) A nice photo.
Z věže je opravdu hezký rozhled. Mohu potvrdit. Jsem plzeňský rodák :) Povedená fotka.

Various types of boats and vessels floating on the Vltava River on a sunny summer day with the silhouette of the Prague Castle complex in the background. Renting a paddle boat is a great way to discover the beauties of Prague from an unusual perspective.

The Dancing House or Fred and Ginger, is the nickname given to the Nationale-Nederlanden building on the Rašínovo nábřeží in Prague, Czech Republic. It was designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry on a vacant riverfront plot. The building was designed in 1992 and completed in 1996.

Palackeho square in Slavkov/Austerlitz - small town, big history. On the upper part is baroque chateau and park which is opened to public during day. The town is very attractive for tourist because of The battle of three emperors which took place there in 1805.

Prague. Despite so much of a long time, I still remember the feeling of admiration and delight that caused my city.
It is impossible not to admire them, because here every street, every house, cathedral, bridge you want to consider more closely, walk not run, but with feeling)). I want to literally absorb it into yourself.
Prague is a city, at any time full of tourists. Basically, of course, it’s hard to get over the old part, because here are the main sights of Prague: Charles Bridge, Old Town Hall, Astronomical Clock, Powder Tower and many more interesting things.

Colourful, quaint and authentic the remarkably hilly centre of Cesky Krumlov is actually very easy to get around provided you take your time. Around every corner you are confronted with spectacular colourful sights and the river always seems to get into the picture. The main square is a photographer’s delight.

Older than old ..., New Town, Prague

One of the places visited by tourists is the Old Jewish Cemetery in Prague. It was founded in the 15th century. But the Jewish community existed here as early as the 10th century.
Where did the Jews bury their dead?
In the 13th century there was a cemetery from which I show a photography. From the so-called Jewish Gardens. King Vladislav II abolished them. When you enlarge a photo, you'll learn more. King needed a new place to build a residential homes.
But even this cemetery is not the oldest ...

Bethlehem clock - a chapel in Prague on Bethlehem Square in the old part of the city. Based on the private funds of Jan from Mülheim on the land of Jan Kříž in 1391.
In the chapel, Jan Hus read his sermons; she became the center of the reformation in the Czech Republic. Actually, it was founded specifically for the Mass in the Czech language.
After the defeat of the Protestants in the battle on White Mountain belonged to the Jesuits, then in 1786 it was demolished. The modern building was built in 1954 by the project of Yaroslav Fragner.

Petrin Tower
If you have already reached the Petrin hill, do not miss out the tower. It is worth checking out the opening hours of the tower and go up. The view is amazing. One of the best places to see the city of Prague from above. At night, the tower is illuminated with different colors. very nice.

We took so many photos of this place, it is really amazing! The whole Prague castle leaves you mesmerized upon visiting, but this cathedral really takes your breath. It simply cannot fit into one shot.
Be careful though, there is a paid entrance to it, but the queue could be really really long!
