Vltava River Prague. The river splits the Prague old town and flowing calmly in between. Many romantic places along the river, a cross the bridge is also recommended to feels another view and perspective, really amazing and beautifull. The one hour cruise was great as it really covered a lot of ground going under the Charles Bridge and good views of the Castle district and many nice buildings along the river.

It is very pleasant to stroll in the old town especially in the morning or in the early evening, there are fewer people, the small streets have a charm, the church of Tin conquered us, a little less the large square filled with show of all kinds, extend the visit to the first bridge Charles II, feel free to taste the local specialty, a kind of puff pastry crisp crust that is filled with fruit, cream or ice, it is delicious . A note the extreme cleanliness of the streets!

The walk up to the castle passes over the river where lots of people paddle down river. Even though there were lots of tourists it was easy to avoid the tour groups and there are lots of quiet spots to just sit and watch the world - or the river- go by. Try to catch a `free' walking tour to really appreciate the centre of Cesky Krumlov.

One of the beautiful old houses found in the historic center of Krnov. Located at the foothills of the Jeseniky Mountains in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic, the town of Krnov is home to about 24,000 people and it is famous for producing Kofola, one of the most popular drinks in the country.

Designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with the famous Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry, the Dancing House is one of the most popular and photographed pieces of modern architecture in Prague. The house was built in 1996 and it is located on the Rasin Embankment.

I took this photo in Prague in August, as the sun began to set. We were walking on the long river Vltava and I immortalized the Manesuv Most, with the Prague Castle and the Cathedral of San Vito.

I got up at 5am to walk to Charles Bridge just to get a photo of the sunrise. It was magical. Very nice view from the bridge. And the Charles Bridge itself does not need to be described - you need to see it with your own eyes.

The gothic towers that tower over the old square are just magnificent. They are easily recognised as Prague architecture and unique in that sense. The square is large and gets large crowds but we still found getting around easy. I recommend spending the time to wonder the alleyways and cobble streets. There are great finds only a street away from the main square.

The beating heart of Prague tourism and liveliness. A must-see spectacle. Great place to see old buildings. Old town Square in Prague is huge with gorgeous sculptures and architecture all around. The place in the old town is where all liveliness is. It’s the heart of all the tourism activities.

The view of the river Vltava from Letná profile. This outlook is very popular, so people of many nationalities can meet in a while. I regularly visit it several times a year because there is a beautiful view of Old Prague.

Beautiful view from Petrin Tower. The views from the top are lovely. You can see the city ad the Charles Bridge or the castle and St. Vitus Church. The top can get crowded, but if you walk down a level or two there are still great views and it is not as crowded.

Standing on the grounds of the Italian Court, I found an amazing view of St. Barbara's Church. This incredible gothic church is a marvel from both inside and from this location. To be honest, when you get close or go to the front, it's very hard to get a decent picture, so I was happy my wandering feet took me here.

Secret beach at Lipno lake. Last year's birthday trip was to Lipno lake, to a small pension in the middle of nowhere near Milná. When exploring I found this wonderful beach that was completely empty and therefore relaxing for me. I took many photos and enjoyed the evening until a storm was coming and I had to go back - to enjoy a wonderful dinner, some glasses of excellent rum and pool billard :-)
