Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @rexona:
We drove down to Cesky Krumlov from Prague and found it an easy drive on the major highways. Found in the following days that country backroads were much more interesting and scenic. Cesky Krumlov was thankfully less crowded than expected so walking around the town and outskirts was just a visual delight. Lots of excellent places to eat by the riverside so able to enjoy a few Eggenberg pilsner while taking in the sights of the castle looming overhead and also watch the rafting action on the river.

I rewarded @rexona winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit her blog and check out some of her other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Magical Especially at Sunset
Charles Bridge is iconic of Prague. The views are spectacular of the city. The statues are incredible. I would recommend a visit in the early morning and in the evening the time of day adds even more to the experience. It can be a little crowded in during the day but worth the visit at anytime of day.
I really like this unique shot ~ 🖤 ~
Thank you.
That is a spectacular shot and well worth featuring as the main entry today. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us and have a great weekend. Tomas
Thank you.
Close-up of a statue in front of the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. Founded as early as in circa 930, the St. Vitus Cathedral is a majestic Roman Catholic metropolitan cathedral situated within the complex of the Prague Castle in the historic center of the city. With its highest tower measuring staggering 103 m (338 ft), the cathedral is one of the largest and most important Gothic churches in the country as well as in all Europe.
Close-up of one of 30 statues and statuaries found on both sides of the Charles Bridge in Prague. Spanning over the Vltava River in the historic center of Prague, the Charles Bridge is one of the most famous and visited landmarks of the city and the Czech Republic.
Are you really sure Archa Noah's landed on Ararat? Prokopské údolí (St.Prokopius Valley), Praha
I have a seven-year-old son. So I often look at Prague through playgrounds. But the Prokop valley is also an amazing geological location. It's the half-billion-year-old ocean bottom. After the rain, and when you're lucky, you can find fossils of ammonites, trilobites ... And there's a beautiful one.
A car I saw on the street in Prague many years ago during a trip. I have used this in another photo competition on Steemit (Vehicle photography), but it has not been used elsewhere! A classy car, in a classy city!
I absolutely love it ~ ✨❤️✨ ~ classic cars in general and this type especially :)
Hi Steemians,
find here my contribution for today's competition. Couple of unusual pictures taken in Prague during shooting of tv movie "Monstrum" about J. V. Stalin.
The original Stalin's monument was a massive granite statue honoring Joseph Stalin that was unveiled on 1st May 1955 after more than 5 years of work. It was the world's largest representation of Stalin, In 1962 was destoyed.
Since by profession I have to communicate with foreigners, and many of them have visited many countries of the world, sometimes it's about who visited where, in what country or city they liked most . So a huge percentage of those people are foreign to foreigners or no, one of the most beautiful and most beautiful countries called the Czech Republic, and the favorite city in which they would like to return - Prague. At first glance it may seem that this city is not particularly different from many other such beautiful cities there is beautiful architecture, beautiful streets, nature, and much more. What, then, is so special in Prague? Maybe you will be surprised, but I can not answer this question. The magic of this city enfolds your mind immediately upon arrival in this city. Feeling that you are in a fairy tale, but do not want to leave!
The view of Prague from the Petrin Tower is amazing. In first term you can see Malá Strana district with St. Nicholas church (on the left). The bridge that crosses the Vlatva river (in the center of the photo) is Charles Bridge (Karlúv most) one of the most crowded places in the city. At the other side of the river you'll find the Town Hall with the Astrological clock, among other historical buildings and monuments.
One of the most beautiful cathedrals I have seen is The Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul is located on Petrov Hill, in the center of the city of Brno, in the Czech Republic. It is a national cultural monument and one of the most important pieces of architecture in South Moravia. It is also one of the most visited cathedrals by tourists since it is among the most mentioned tourist attractions.
Traveling by tram in Prague
For decades, old red trams have been an integral part of the Prague skyline. Traveling by tram allows the traveler to make the most of the landscape; however, no Prague tramway follows a circular route: all cross the city from one end to the other.
