TRAVELING: Aruba, one happy island
When i read the sentence "one happy island" googling "Aruba" on internet, after some friends convince me to go in a group travel, i thought maybe was only a catchy sentence to call atention but watching pictures on line about my next group travel destination, really convince me this could be "happy" to do. So, i decided to watch more things on line about this island because is always good for me to do some research first and i found on www.collinsdictionary.com:
an island in the Caribbean, off the NW coast of Venezuela, a dependency of the Netherlands with special status; part of the Netherlands Antilles until 1986. Chief town: Oranjestad. Pop: 109 153 (2013 est). Area: about 181 sq km (70 sq miles)
So, good enough to start a research about your next vacation destiny, after that i just decided to watch on line pictures of the place, so amazing by the way, but in this case i'm going to show my own pictures and how was my experience in that trip. When you arrive to Aruba the first thing to notice is the fact that everything is very organized, and is a place very dedicated with the tourism and the tourists so that is a good start point and a first impression; all questions we made they had a good response, very kind and clear, so you do not feel lost or fooled and that is very important for a visitor.
Yes, that is me! Enjoying that amazing sea water hitting the cliff, and that pic can describe my general feeling during that trip, the energy you breathe in that place is just lots of water covering the whole area with a strong behavior, is a life celebration, that moment you can forget everything bad and start over with new energy from nature.
This was the first beach we visit is located behind the Riu Hotel, that place is an imposing building, very atractive and we just went to check it out, have one of the greatest beach to know in the whole island and during the night is pure magic, specially the sunsets.
Baby beach is very known, one of the best beaches in the world, have awards to certificate that and have a special beauty, people love to go there because the water is low and it has a reef very reachable and close to the shore. The dry tree inside the water is also a misterious ornament, you can have the best pics there and is known as one of the emblematic icons of Aruba.
The light house of Aruba is such a nice place and very touristic, from there you can have a wide view of the island.
The red anchor and the windmills are places located close, also the cliff of the first picture is in that area of the island, not much tourists around, have a quiet beach very useful to practice kitesurf and is a different vibe, if you are the kind of person who really like know hidden magic places, this is definetively a place for you.
Is time to talk about sunsets, everyday the Aruba sky spread the most amazing sunsets, they invite you always to love beauty of the sky, is a moment of true reflexion energy about life and the amazing planet we have, all those colors are pure art from heaven and for sure is something i will never forget, is a thanksgiving moment for having the pleasure to be there, is a boost of energy to move on and enjoy life... What else can i say? it is a happy island and beyond!
Looks like a wonderful place to visit.
