South African Travelling Activities.
Hey everyone. I have always been a travel buff. When I was younger I left school and traveled to Israel, Egypt and the UK. Since then I went on a little travel sebatical.
Of late that all changed again as I have embarked on an epic journey to travel South Africa from top to bottom and in doing so discovered there really truly is so much to do in this gloriously pretty country.
Now I have never really favored myself as an adrenaline junky but if you are, bungi jumping at the storms river Bridge is the best, I'm told.
Years ago I hitch hiked to Cape Town from Pretoria with mates twice. This was an epic adventure but very hard going as each way a whopping 1600kms took us 5 days atleast. This time around I am doing it in my car. Here the very scenic and pretty storms river Bridge.
Sunsets and sunrises on epic farms in the sticks or at the ocean, picking amazing fruit directly off trees this is all on the agenda and more.
Dinners and breakfasts at road side restaurants offering traditional South African culinary home-grown delights.
Feel free to grab a dip in the local farm reservoir or country dam, fishing, mountain biking and hiking to boot.
My uncle in the Eastern Cape is a generational dairy farmer, I always stop over here for a few nights to visit Dad and the family to unwind as well as take in all the wonderful fresh sights and sounds.
A Long walk on a desolate South African karoo farm road for the "meek at heart" from boating to biking, para-sailing to scuba, that is all on offer here.
The Eastern Cape of Southern Africa is very green! These wind turbines a common sight along the Eastern Cape"garden route".
Nature the incredible.
Have an amazing week.
Love light and blessings.
Cheer$;)
