Travel to ancient Egypt
This blog is about visiting ancient Egyptian sites giving some advice and practical tips that any traveler would have to take in mind when going into the country, especially if it is for the first time, in order to maximize both the time and the money, avoiding mistakes as far as possible.
Egypt is a great country, and the visit to its main archeological sites will make you realize how important the influence of the old Egypt was in our culture and how our present has its most ancient roots back then.
So, here comes my first advice, before going to Egypt it is paramount at least to prepare yourself for the journey from a cultural point of view. This task has not to be taken as a burden, and it is a very interesting way of broadening your culture in general and making the visit a wonderful memory. Of course, you have many sources of information, books, travel guides, videos, etc., and it will depend on your curiosity how far you will go.
The Egyptian culture and sites are far more than ordinary tourism.
