Meet the warsaw
Capital and largest city of Poland. The metropolis stands on the Vistula River in east-central Poland and its population is officially estimated at 1.760 million residents within a greater metropolitan area of 3.101 million residents, which makes Warsaw the 9th most-populous capital city in the European Union. The city limits cover 516.9 square kilometres
The first fortified settlements on the site of today's Warsaw were located in Bródno (9th/10th century) and Jazdów (12th/13th century).[31] After Jazdów was raided by nearby clans and dukes, a new similar settlement was established on the site of a small fishing village called Warszowa. The Prince of Płock, Bolesław II of Masovia, established this settlement, the modern-day Warsaw, in about 1300. In the beginning of the 14th century it became one of the seats of the Dukes of Masovia, becoming the official capital of the Masovian Duchy in 1413
I have started my visit to warsaw from visiting the multiple os museums and warsaw palce that during ww2 has been completely destroyed.
warsaw castle during ww 2:
warsaw castle now rebuild :
there are many monuments worth of attention like
column of zygmunt the king of poles
or either monument for the honour of uprisers that are must to see:
for the honour of kids uprising along with adult against german aggression, I believe no body can say that poles were killing jews as the little kids also fought for their freedom and independence believing media is bad.
the other great place to see and where you will probably see the whole of warsaw is culture palace build in ages of communist occupation
Warsaw is a big city as a capital and has a lot to offer a lot for youngsters we get great venues to party and our prices are cheap
I loved to visit Warsaw due to its history , fight for independence and generally living style, visited place few times but still didn't have time to visit all of the places hoping to see more like golden taras.
Woe2... 🙁
sadly whole Warsaw was destroyed during ww2 but quiet well rebuild by civilians . we always fought for independence and we always will if needed thanks for comment
