Excellent! Love to read your adventures, I also hitchhiked in Spain (from Paris to Madrid) and I gave up in Zaragoza! Got escorted out of the highway, stopped by the guardia civil... Barcelona was the worst!
Anyway I hope spanish people get used to hitchhikers because it's a very difficult country to travel in, that's Franco's legacy.
Had a lot more luck in the northern part of Spain, and the landscape comes right out of a fairy tale.

You did? Wow, I've been hitchhiking basically everywhere now since 3 years and that never happened to me. You didn't forget to flirt with the cops, did you? Ha, fatal mistake! ;)
