CHOCOLATE HILLS ADVENTURE
Hello everyone last January 8, 2018 me and my family had our first Trip to Bohol in Visayas Region. It is the best Trip ever in my whole life because it's the first time experience that I am with my family Trip.
I'm so blessed that for the first time my family had time to experience to ride a " PLANE ".
We came from Surigao City. 12 noon is our departure from Surigao Airport via Cebu Pacific and we arrived in Cebu Mactan Airport around 12:45 pm. From Cebu Mactan Airport we find white taxi going to Pier 1 ,Port of Cebu. It takes 45 minutes of travel via white taxi for 150 pesos. During out arrival in Pier 1 we buy ticket bound to Tagbilaran via OceanJet. It is approximately 3 hours of travel from Cebu Port to Tabilaran Bohol Port for 500 pesos fare. From Tagbilaran port we need to ride again. There are taxi and tricycle that could bring you to Alona Beach Panglao but we decided to get the tricycle for 300 pesos for 45 minutes of travel.
LAND HOPPING is our activity for our first day in Bohol. We rent a car that exclusive for us only and we are 5 person in total and we pay 3000 pesos for 1 day trip. It has many destination to watch out. This time we started to see the CHOCOLATE HILLS which is the most well known place in Bohol that could attract to all the tourists.
In this trip we have option to watch the Chocolate hills closer but we have to rent the ATV. This time you have to drive going to the place where you can see closer and Single ATV cost 450 pesos good for 1 and BuggyATV is good for 2 for 900 pesos. This ride have 3 stop over for 3 Chocolate most hills namely 3 sisters, pregnant hills and the last is the 8 sisters hills that closer to each other.
After our ATV RIDES our driver bring us in the tower place where you can see the whole place for chocolate hills and it has 50 pesos entrance fee... Before you can witness the beautiful creatures that God had made you have to went up by 100 of stairs.. But once you reach on the top you can see the beauty of the chocolate hills that make sure that the stairs you climb up and the 50 pesos you pay is worth it.
Man made Forest is the Second destination for land hopping. There's no entrance fee and it is free to take photo and selfie.
Tarsier Place is the 3rd place that we stop and has 60 pesos each for entrance fee.
Our last stop is Bohol Python and Wildlife Park in Laya Baclayon Bohol. Here you can see all types of rescued wildlife, including monkey's, monitor lizard, all types of tropical birds including the Philippine Eagle.
Before our adventure end I have to try the ice cream to complete the day:)
