Chris And Sam Travels #3; Arrival In Kuala Lumpur, Photos Of Our Visit To The Petronas Towers!

Hi everyone! Monday we said goodbye to our families and now our trip has finally started! We are currently chilling at our rooftop bar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It's still 30 degrees Celcius and it's already midnight! The city has definitely amazed us so far and we're looking forward to the rest of our days in Kuala Lumpur.

Amsterdam, Schiphol

Our adventure officially started last Monday when we said goodbye at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam.

Muscat, Oman

Our flight took over 26 hours as we had our transfer in Oman, a country we barely heard of. Apparently it's as big as the United Kingdom only 4,5 million people are living in the country. We have been waiting there for 10 hours and shortly after sunrise we departed from Oman to Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Day 2; On Tuesday in the late evening, we arrived at our hotel near the city centre. We went wandering around the area surrounding our hotel. We immediately became aware of the large inequality here. The street was filled with homeless people. The city might appear to be a rich place but in reality there's also a lot poverty as well.

Day 3; The next morning we woke up, had our breakfast and went to the rooftop swimming pool to get rid off our jetlags. Watching the view on the amazing metropolic city of Kuala Lumpur while relaxing on our sunbeds made us feel grateful. From up there we had this wonderful view:

In the evening we went to visit the famous Petronas Twin Towers. These 375 metres tall giants were built by the Petronas family (rich family in the oil industry) and now functions as one of the biggest attractions of Kuala Lumpur. Around the buildings you will find many nice restaurants and in the evening they have a water fountain show. The area is full of both tourists and locals and offers an amazing atmosphere.

We will be staying in Kuala Lumpur until Friday and after that we will be flying to Lombok, Indonesia. We'll keep on posting about our experiences, so follow @chrisadventures and stay tuned about #chrisandsamtravels!
