STEEM : A'zambezi River Lodge #Blog Post 2

This beautiful well situated 4 star hotel is situated right at the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The hotel is owned and managed by the Rainbow Tourism Group [RTG] who also manage most of the prestigious hotels throughout Zimbabwe. It's a great family hotel with a very calm and friendly atmosphere, and is an ideal location to spend a few days in the heart of the Victoria Falls (one of the wonders of the world).

The hotel was recently renovated in 2011 and this has made it a tourist favourite.

I remember my last visit there. It was the most splendid stay. The staff was very friendly and I felt like part of a family. There are a lot of activities to do in Victoria Falls and staying at a hotel on the banks like this is an advantage. The sunset boat cruises are romantic and stunning.

The buffet service is unforgettable!

It has 87 well appointed and air conditioned rooms including 44 double rooms, 37 twin rooms, 2 luxury king suites, 2 queen suites and 2 paraplegic rooms. Non-smoking rooms are also available. Most of the rooms have balconies facing the river and swimming pool whilst the rest face the National Park area and the gardens.
